Nomads Hotel Hostel & Rooftop Pool

+ unhelpful staff and NO WIFI

+ It was clean and close to the center of town

- They had loud techno playing until 3am.. There are no quiet hours.. If you plan to sleep here good luck.

+ One of the most beautiful hostels I’ve been to , the rooms were fantastic, lots of storage space , pool on roof and a nice but small kitchen.

- On the morning of April 5 I woke up and went downstairs around 4:30 AM. I made myself coffee had a seat and then relaxed , I thought it was very strange that I couldn’t find the front desk agent as well as the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. After 30 minutes went by. I thought it was very strange so I started to search for the front desk agent.. I found the front desk agent in the back room of the front desk hog tide with duct tape all over his body , once I removed the tape from his mouth, he told me that he had been robbed by three men with guns and they stole the ATM. After freeing him, I wasn’t able to call Uber because the Wi-Fi was disabled by the attackers. I had to go upstairs to the roof to have access to Wi-Fi so I can escape. It’s been almost 2 months since this horrific morning. No Manager has contact me to see if I was OK. I was not contacted by the police to be a witness. Nothing everything was swept under the rug like it never happens for this reason, I’m giving that Hostel a one star. The other Hostel guests should’ve been notified of this robbery the next morning to see if anyone came home and heard anything or saw anything , as well as I should’ve been contacted this time of behavior doesn’t sit well with me.

- They played music until 2am, it’s not only noise but the whole bed was shaking(the rooftop is literally above our dorm),and the staff’s attitude was really bad, asked us to move to another room even it was already after midnight,refused to make any efforts and just told us this is it, we have to bare it. They don’t give a f*** to guests who want to rest. And the room has a really bad smell from the toilet, even the staff cleaned it, it was still there, so disgusting. It’s in the town, it has nothing to do there, you have to take a bus to go anywhere. And when you come back from the beach area, the bus is always super crowded, so won’t recommend to stay in this area

- Impossible de dormir avec leur musique à fond sur le toit . Une auberge de jeunesse plutôt qu’un hôtel ! Aucun respect pour le sommeil des gens . Réception 0 bref à éviter vriament ! C’était 1 nuit et c’était de trop

- שערות של אישה במקלחת זבל בפח מאורח קודם המזגן לא עובד טוב , מלון גרוע

+ Quand l'hôtesse d'accueil a tout fait pour me toucher la main c'est très étrange pareille pour sa collègue de la soirée .

- Avoir étais mis sur liste rouge pour l'ensemble des établissement Être hétéro sexuel c'est aussi un droit. Elle font aussi la police pour oxxo le commerce le plus proche.

- VORSICHT ‼️ Die Reinigunskräfte stehlen Geld aus den abgeschlossenen Splinten! Mir wurden 5000 pesos geklaut. Der Manager weiß es und tut nichts dagegen. Anzeige ist raus! Ist auch keine Einmalige Sache, habe auch andere Gäste getroffen denen Geld in dem Hostel gestohlen worden ist! Oben in der Bar wird dir ohne zu fragen 15% Trinkgeld berechnet!

- La gente del bar de arriba parece que les pides regalado, mala actitud. En el baño no había donde colocar el shampoo y jabón tenías que dejarlo en el suelo, muy incómodo

+ Super clean, organised and tidy. Staff friendly specially Fernando from the reception and the yoga teacher. In certainly coming back!

- The water drain in the shower was too slow, but no big deals.

+ The best hostel in Cancun with the most friendly crew ever. One of the crew members Carlos, is very friendly, helpfull and has really good vibes. The hostel is clean and very comfortable with perfect location. Highly recommended!

+ Cozy bunk beds with curtains and the room had AC. Close to the ADO bus station.

+ Auberge à 5min de la gare routière. Réception ouverte 24h/24 donc très pratique après une arrivée en bus tardive. Les locaux et la chambre sont propres et bien équipés. Piscine et bar sur le rooftop (je n'ai pas testé).

- La douche est petite dans les chambre, il manque une tablette ou quelque chose pour poser des objets. Le casier avec le lit est un peu trop petit pour y mettre un gros sac à dos de randonnée et un autre plus petit.
