Flying Yak Kathmandu

Had a great private room in the heart of Thamel. Staff were very kind. Not much of a socializing, hang out vibe, but I did enjoy my tidy room and the location.

Geweldig hostel op een goede locatie en het ziet er heel netjes uit. Het is heel schoon. Goed bed. warme douche!!! 24 uur gratis thee en koffie en mineraalwater dispenser naast de dorm. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Via het hostel kun je gave trekkings en hikes boeken. Ook kun je andere tours en bezoeken bij hun boeken. Ik heb een hike geboekt en pak daarna nog een paar nachten bij Flying Yak om te relaxen, ik ben echt super tevreden en voor de prijs krijg je meer dan je verwacht.

This Hostel was awesome. The receptionist Bikass was very lovely. I had a deep conversation with him and he recommended some local places which gave me a deep insight how people go out eat and drink. He showed me his favourites foods momo, pani puri, chatpate and nepali chips. The facilities are great. I had free water and free coffee in the morning. The facilities look quite new as well.

Staff is very friendly, location is nice but the toilets were covered in pee and there were weird stains on the sheets. Also the doors to the dorms are open so anyone could walk in if they wanted to

非常滿意，下次來加德滿都還是會繼續住著。他們也有提供很多一日遊、徒步登山行程，尼泊爾套裝行程。每天都有好喝的咖啡或茶，地理位置很方便。

Wonderful people.....all the staff is very helpful and polite. I enjoyed many conversations with them. The dormitory is safe and clean. The shower is just one, but is always clean.

The location of the hostel is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful! It was not really busy when I stayed here, but that’s maybe bc of the time of the year (November)

A really nice hostel in Kathmandu. Super clean, affordable and well located in Thamel near a bunch a good restaurants. Nonetheless the hostel was extraordinarily quiet during my stay and the staff were only so resourceful, as I was often left having to figure stuff out by myself.
