Ohana Tarifa Hostel

Sinceramente no lo recomiendo, todo mugroso. Llegué y no funcionaba la clave, cuando logro ingresar, la habitación a compartir parecía una lugar de los chanchos. Ambiente feo. Baño en pésimas condiciones.

I really wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re just passing through for a night. The atmosphere was dull and uninviting, with a common area that isn't inviting to relax or meet people. Cleanliness was lacking, and the air conditioning only worked sporadically — which was miserable given the heat. The mattress had an uncomfortable, plastic-like feel that made it hard to sleep. There are at least two other hostels nearby that I’d suggest trying first.

I don't understand how people rated this 9.5 (at the time of my review). Reception does not speak English. He is not friendly either. Beds on the upper level has no protection, if you turn you are straight in the ground... Showers has no soap. Showers has no holder for your showery. Only a hanger. Bedrooms has only 1 window. And that window has no net. So if it is open, then you are a feast for mosquitos. If it is closed then you suffocat. Beds are plastic material, get ready to sweat.

Dormimos muy mal las 3 noches que estuvimos. El aire acondicionado lo manejan desde recepción y llegamos a ir 5 veces en la noche a pedir que lo prendan. Las camas son incómodas y con el calor que se pasa no descansamos. Daniel el chico que está en la tarde es muy amable. La ubicación es buena.

Chouette auberge pour passer une nuit. Cependant, manque d’emplacements pour laisser ses affaires ainsi que certains accessoires (sèche-cheveux, savon, etc.). Sinon très simple et personnel aimable

Muchísimo calor en la habitación, de acogen q que si no lo pides no ponen el aire acondicionado, pero en pleno verano y con ola de calor no debería ser necesario pedirlo. No pude dormir en toda la noche

Buen hostel, el unico problema que tiene es que te prenden el aire y a los 20 minutos lo apagan. Deberian de dejarlo prendido toda la noche con el calor que hace. Tenes que pedirles muchas veces en la noche que lo prendan porque te lo apagan, al final parece una tomada de pelo

Great location, and a nice little common space, but other than that… no AC in bunkroom, towel had stains and sheets smelled bad (perhaps if the rooms are kept so hot and sweaty, you need stronger detergent!). Bunks are minimal (nowhere near the bed to rest your things at night), and there are common bathrooms so you have to go out into the hallway to use the bathroom and then do a 6 character code (no key/card) to get back into the room every time…

Great place to stay! Location is awesome - a small supermarket is just behind and we walked easily to this hostel from the ferry terminal. Dorms are immaculate and beds are comfortable with privacy curtains. Even in the big dorm room with a lot of people, it's very spacious and well laid out. Definitely recommend!!

top of their game. easy to find, and easy to ck in. very clean. with separate bathrooms for men and women. beds with curtains and bed light, perfect. smaller meeting and reading area, and kitchen . closest hostel to the beach. Location simply the best. but pretty far walk from the bus station. 30 to 45 minues. the staff was super helpful. deserves a 10 rating for sure

Amazing Hostel in Tarifa!

Me gustó todo, muy limpio y al estar separados los baños de hombres y mujeres me pareció más cómodo para cambiarse que muchos otros hostels. Lo único q le falta es un espacio al aire libre, pero súper recomendable, definitivamente volvería. Buen personal e instalaciones, ubicación👍🏼

Un hostal muy buena onda! A mi me ha encantado, se los recomiendo. Mención especial al dueño, sus hijos, Juan y a la chica de Grecia, quienes hicieron mi estadía en un viaje muy agradable!

Very clean and save, nice staff. All in all quite practical, here and there it lacks a little coziness. Since you will stay mostly outside in Tarifa it’s not really noticeable. I enjoyed my stay here, would recommend it and come again! 🌞🌊🏄‍♀️

About 8 mins walking from the "bus station" in Tarifa, same distance down to the beach and port. The girl working on reception was so friendly and extra helpful with everything. It's a small hostel, but has a cute common area and kitchen for use with seating. Rooms are nice, beds are comfy and clean (only thing is there isn't a barrier on the top ones, and it's kinda high). Bathroom is clean; they provide a hairdryer. Really enjoyed the time here.

Great stay here. Bathrooms were clean and showers had good pressure! Beds were comfy and curtains blocked out a lot of light!

Everything was nice, except the cutting board in metal😩 that’s not nice and also common area is not big

Tolles Hostel, sehr sauber und die Leute dort sind alle super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziges Manko: die Matratze war bereits extrem durchgelegen

Super limpio, ubicación perfecta y el dormitorio también. Me gustó que las maletas se quedan en el vestiario y que los dormitorios son super privados. Hay un cafe superb en el hostel. La única cosa que podría hacer para quedar mejor es tener actividades y espacios coletivos para compartir. Extra gracias a la chica de Francia de la recepción por las sugerencias de que hacer en Malaga (no me recuerdo el nombre de ella :().
