The matresses were old and not comfortable. It had a nice rooftop. But overall wouldn't recommend, because there are better options in Montevideo

Very loud hostel, you can hear every spoken word from other guests, every door inside your room. Only two bathrooms. Stuff don't care about you. Location is good and price is okay.
Very basic hostel. Location and staff was okay. Felt like the toilet was a bit smelly and the women’s bathroom had kinda of a weird door. Ok for one night.
It was a decent stay. The vibe was a bit more “volunteers and remote workers” than solo travelers. The lighter for the stove in the kitchen only made sparks not an actual flame which I didn’t love but that could be a skill issue.

I had a great time there. All the workers are really awesome, super cool guys. Very personable. As far as the facilities you’re getting what you paid for. Everything is functional and if it’s not functional they fix it very quickly. It can be hot in the summer, but the give everyone an individual fan, which I had zero problems being hot while sleeping or in my bed. If you’re looking to stay for a shorter period of time, (3 weeks or less, definitely worth it). I would highly recommend for 1...
It's in a good location. A short walk from the nearby museums and 30 minutes away from a decent beach.
Veramente un buon hostal, personale gentile e sempre a disposizione! Ottima posizione , l unica cosa un poco difficile è trovarlo perche è privo di insegne o cartelli pero in generale veramente un buon soggiorno, Grazie!

It was a good hostel, had everything a hostel needs and very well planned dorms! I would like to kitchen cupboards to be a bit cleaner and have more utensils. Unfortunately there were only me and my sister that were the only women with 10 men, which didn’t feel very safe, also because one of the long term guests were constantly hitting on us.

Notre séjour de 5 jours dans la Casa Copada était parfait. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec des casiers et des rideaux autour des lits. Les espaces communs sont propres et dotés de nombreux jeux. La Casa Copada est très bien située, proche de la vieille ville et de la Rambla. Le point fort de notre expérience était l'accueil du t du gérant qui était très accueillant et chaleureux. Il nous a conseillé sur toutes nos excursions à Montevideo et dans les villes alentours et nous a fait...
Our stay of 5 days in Casa Copada was perfect. The rooms are spacious with lockers and curtains around the beds. The common areas are clean and equipped with many games. Casa Copada is very well located, close to the old town and the Rambla. The highlight of our experience was the reception of the manager who was very welcoming and warm. He advised us on all our excursions to Montevideo and the surrounding towns and made us a barbecue.

J'ai apprécié mon séjour dans cette auberge. Le personnel est très sympathique. Les dortoirs sont confortables. Bon rapport qualité-prix pour Montevideo. J'ai adoré la terrasse.

Hizo muchísimo calor y no tenían siquiera un ventilador. Fuera de eso, está bien ubicado, con bares en la esquina, las camas son cómodas, el personal fue muy copado.
It was very hot and they didn't even have a fan, besides that it's well located, with bars in the corner, the beds are comfortable, the staff was very accommodating.

un plaisir de résider à Casa Copada lors de mon séjour à Montevideo. l'hostel n'est pas tout neuf mais tout l'essentiel est à disposition, le personnel est super sympa (merci encore pour l'accueil🫶), on se sent à la maison. Mention spéciale pour la terrasse sur le toit ! Et encore une fois, mention très spéciale pour l'équipe !
It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Copada during my stay in Montevideo. the hostel is not brand new but everything essential is at your disposal, the staff is super friendly (thank you again for the welcome), we feel at home. special mention for the rooftop terrace ! and again, very special mention for the team !
