Hotel del Marques

Two different nights, the 1st we were surprised at the Lilliputian rooms & doors, some bugs that sure looked like cockroaches. The other stay, at least we had a mirror in the bathroom. The staff is super nice & helpful. The bedding is clean & neat. No frills except the pool & TV. Convenient to the center & airport.

Sehr sauberes Hotel mit täglichen Roomservice - Handtücher, Seife, Wasser werden erneuert! Von diesem Standpunkt aus top. Während unseres Aufenthalts recht laut, da viele Reisegruppen mit Jugendlichen (Schulen?) hier unterkommen und es keine Fenster gibt - nur kippbare Glaselemente. Lage in Bezug auf Märkte und Streetfood top. In den nördlichen Teil der Stadt ist man jedoch ca 15-20 min unterwegs.

La verdad el hotel es perfecto! Nos quedamos en una habitación super grande, limpia y cómoda. Cerca del centro, te puedes mover caminando, queda super cerca del mercado asi que es genial para comer ahi. En la noche se ve solitario pero es muy seguro. La recepción siempre esta abierta y el personal es super amable. A mi me atendió Fabiola que fue super atenta y siempre ayudó en lo que necesitaba. Super recomendado!

As it was the Dia de los Muertos, I booked more than 7 weeks in advance and it was confirmed. 2 weeks later, I received an email that there was no availability. They said that they would book me into another hotel with worse reviews and no hot water. Now there was nothing available for less than $50. They never replied to my emails demanding that they honor my booking or for a refund. I would not recommend staying in a place that does not honor their bookings and does not reply to emails.
