Experiencia terrible en Sunset Hostel. Unas vacaciones de miedo. Baños extremadamente sucios, olores pestilentes, camas manchadas con fluidos humanos. Almohadas intocables y cubrecamas que debes rogar para que estén “limpios”. Cucarachas, suciedad y orina de perro. El perro del dueño impregna de mal olor toda la planta baja, incluida la cocina. Además, el ambiente está lleno de personas drogadas y erráticas. Nos sentimos inseguras y dormimos mal por miedo y suciedad. Eviten este luga...

This hostel was pretty nasty, in my opinion. Staff was nice, but the facility was just BAD. Not clean, and no A/C in the hottest, most humid time of the year. I couldn't stay. I left a half hour after arriving, because I couldn't imagine being able to sleep in that sweltering room.

Honestly, i’ve stayed in a lot of hostels in my time. And this is the dirtiest filthiest place i’ve ever stayed. One night was more than enough. And no A/C so be prepared to melt onto a bed harder than granite.

Its probably the dirties hostel Ive ever been to, and that says a lot. Never going back. For 200 pesos more you can a solid clean hotel-room than this place. Was supposed to stay 2 nights, only stayed 1 and only because I arrived late and was too tired to find something else. Didnt even want to brush my teeth in that dirty sink with hairs everywhere. Their bully dog was dirty, smelled and had infektions in its eyes. Poor thing. First thing in the morning I was out.

Établissement mal ou peu entretenu. Pas de pressions dans les douches. Bien situé, même si je pense que l’on peut trouver mieux au même prix (j’avais malheureusement réservé au dernier moment). De plus, impossible de joindre l’hostel au numéro indiqué. Service client inexistant.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was super chill and welcoming, guests and staff. The beds were comfy and facilities were functional. The only thing that could have been improved were the screens to the windows - I was eaten alive my the mosquitos. The rooms don’t have AC either which is a bummer considering the price we paid to stay here. But all in all it was a great experience !! Would recommend and come back.

Marco is a very nice person, but this hostel could be definitely in a better condition !

You get what you pay for, even though I had way better experiences for that money. Beds were okay, there were lockers and a terrace. Unfortunately, the vibe was off, that can change with the people of course but it wasn't social at all. Toilets were constantly blocked, shower didn't work properly and the kitchen was disgusting. I would not stay there again, even though it was only for two nights and it's close to the airport (the area isn't so nice). There was also no door to the female dorm...

Owner was nice, but this is only good thing about that hostel. Very unclean, bad smell everywhere because dog is walking around and peeing everywhere. No hot water, bad WiFi, no AC, uncomfortable beds. Atmosphere was sad, because no one talks with each other. Ventilators works badly.

Me alojé en el hostal de Marco y fue una experiencia increíble. Desde el momento en que llegué, Marco me hizo sentir como en casa. Es un anfitrión excepcional, siempre dispuesto a ayudar y recomendarme lugares para visitar. El hostal esta limpio con habitaciones cómodas y baños espaciosos. La ubicación es perfecta, a pocos minutos de lugares turísticos cercanos.

Que instale aire acondicionado. Que cada cama tenga su locker. Que cada cama tenga algo de privacidad.

The atmosphere in the hostel is amazing due to the lovely people working there. Also, the common araea is amazing, beautiful and cozy. Internat is very good and the beach is nearby. The shower was clean and hot, the toilet could have been cleaner.

Not enough power points or table space to use computer if you can't use the battery. Sometimes, using the computer is all there is to do. This is why it is good to have curtained off beds in the dorms so you can have your own light, and it doesn't disturb anyone else. So some people have a pleasant stay while others have to miss out, or are forced to go out to use their laptops at a cafe which then costs them more to do! Nice friendly dog. Spacious.. Not good washroom/ bathroom facilities

Marco es un excelente anfitrión,está a disposición de todo lo que necesites, y te ayuda en todo .Conoce muy bien la zona y los mejores lugares para a visitar . la cocina muy completa y el ambiente muy comodo

Marco et Fernando étaient très accueillants et serviables. L’endroit est vaste et très sympathique.

L'hostel est bien placé et le gérant est sympathique. La chambre était propre mais les espaces communs étaient sales.

Super great hostel , we really enjoyed our stay there. The hostel has a great layout and Marco is incredibly nice and gives the hostel such a good vibe. Would highly recommend.

Después de 3 cancelaciones de airbnb para la noche del 31 de Diciembre, hemos reservado de ultima hora en el hostal. La verdad fuimos muy bien recibidos, el dueño nos proporcionó un cuarto para nosotros 3 ( mi esposo y mi madre), le agradezco mucho sus atenciones y cordialidad. El lugar es seguro, tranquilo y con una bonita terraza 😀
