Most of the staff and volunteers, except Katia and the cleaning lady, were very rude and unfriendly. Questions were often answered with “I don’t speak English.” When trying to use a translator, they rolled their eyes. There were no Social activities, we were very bored. I went to many hostels but I Never saw volunteers and staff so unfriendly and rude. The rooms were unbearably hot, and the fans were full of dust that looked years old. Card payment was also not possible.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Isn’t it weird they don’t have photos of the amenities? The sinks were broken for 5 days, I had to use the shower to brush my teeth and the shower was either HOT Af or freezing Af, there were fruit flies in my room, the front door doesn’t even lock, the “lockers” are useless AF, they aren’t even attached and fall off the wall completely . sleep with earplugs.. trust me. Bathrooms are tiny and awkward. There is ZERO refunds here so proceed with caution.

Hemos estado en muchos hostels y este ha sido de los peores. Mucho calor en la habitación, ventiladores ruidosos y literas viejas e inseguras. Sin espacio de almacenamiento y sin ventilación. Solo dos duchas sin percheros ni baldas. El desayuno, pésimo: solo pan y huevos. Además, el último día dejaron nuestra habitación abierta, poniendo en riesgo nuestras cosas. No recomendamos este lugar.

I had the worst experience by coming here, i called ahead to inform i was arriving late at night 12am due to traffic, they assured me it was okay, i got at 12:20 when I called they told me they were no longer available, i asked what could I do, they just hang up and blocked me on WhatsApp. The next day i arrived but they had cancel my reservation and no longer had room space for me... To what it was a lie because the app showed spaces... The host was rude, and not helpful at all.

Had to book something last min & didnt have cash because every OXXO was low -this is the only way I can get money. I owed them $500 MX ($26 USD), & explained the situation to the girl at the front desk. She was getting ready to go out and just completely ignored me. all she said is no you can’t come in if you don’t pay. It was12 am! she asked me to Venmo her friend and her friend can pay her tomorrow -SKETCHY. AND they had my card info. I was lucky to have a back up. NVR AGAIN.

Not worth it.Unclean, smelled horrible, false advertising.The sheets on my bed were disgusting and obviously not changed between guests. Crumbs or dirt all over them, pillowcase had drool marks and so much hair on it. Room smelled awful, no curtains on beds, small lockers and nowhere to store luggage. "free breakfast" was a bah or bread with mold for toast, diy eggs, stale cereal, dirty dishes.

Good location and friendly staff that's the only 2 positive things I can say about this place. Feels like this was a good hostel 5 years ago. Beds are now horrible, almost falling apart. No ventilation in the rooms. Toilets, showers were almost disgusting. Decided to leave after just one night.

Pros: close to the water, interesting building, nice bartender, personal fans, clean toilets.Acro ss the street from a great massage place Cons: the general state of the facilities makes camping without equipment seem nicer. So little care, attention, time or effort has gone into developing and maintaining the facilities that's is impossible to even begin to list them. But maybe you like leaving your clothes on the dirty, lightless bathroom floor while you're taking a cold shower.

Really fun

This is an amazing place to stay! The workers were incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt so welcome in this beautiful place.
