Koh Mook Hostel

Female dorm was good but top bunks don’t have curtains or separators so you are very close to the others. Very nice that breakfast is included though

Honestly, I don't think you can expect too much. It's the only hostel on the island, and Koh Mook is a pretty remote island with a very small town. So this is probably more like an 8 star, but ended up with 5 cause there is not really much security, not very good wifi, and no atmosphere at all.

Vorherige durchgehend positive Bewertungen konnten wir nicht nachvollziehen. Die Betten sind steinhart, man muss draußen im Garten duschen (nur kalt) und auf Toilette gehen, die Schließfächer sind klein und rostig. Die Klimaanlage zeigt direkt auf die oberen Betten, sodass sie nicht die ganze Nacht laufen konnte. Sauberkeit war ok, Handtücher sollte man nicht benutzen, da sie sehr fusseln. Frühstück ist nice und es gibt immer kostenloses Trinkwasser.

Good hostel, but with a lot of room for improvement. Facility was clean. Staff eager to respond to questions. Location was quite good, central on the island. Right in the street to good restaurants.

Really good hostel , staff were helpful and kind hearted. Beds so comfortable cafe just opposite, sweet Island , but traffic noise early in morning people going to see the sunset probably. Social hostel , Charlie beach is beautiful Really enjoyed this beach with swimming. Would recommend this hostel . Easy to get around this island .

I liked this hostel. The free breakfast you get is really nice and generous portions. The rooms are basic but clean and outdoor shower and toilets were okay. I was a bit annoyed because staff at the cafe sold me a pretzel that was rock hard and stale and when I told them I had to throw it away because it was stale she just laughed and said sorry… no offer of a replacement or refund. I was annoyed because we ate here every day and night but after that I didn’t want to go back.

I really enjoyed my time at Koh Mook hostel. Such a cute little hostel. Easy to get everywhere. (Hiring a bicycle helped, I found). I found the breakfast size a bit mean- asking for things like omelettes or pancakes gives you a decent meal, asking for fruit, does not. The beds were very squeaky and shakey. But other than these two things I had no issues and really enjoyed my time there. If I were to return, I might see if they had private rooms. But it also depends on who you’re sharing with

Super nice and cheap hostel. Simple fascilities, but you get used to it. Nice breakfast included in the price in the bakery across the street. Good hostel for having a relaxing stop i the journey.

Perfect for a relaxed stay on the island. Good breakfast and great coffee well worth to pay a bit extra for.

Friendly staff, clean, nice showers, very close to beach. Free breakfast was AMAZING, best I ever had in a hostel. (You choose from a menu at a cute cafe across the road) My criticism is that I struggled to sleep, I found the upper beds extremely hard and there was no curtain on top level. Also the noise of the fan in the room is extremely loud even with earplugs Staff very friendly and helpful

Such a nice hostel, really comfy beds and plenty of toilets. There is no atmosphere though but the island is so small you can still meet people. Breakfast across the road was lovely as well. Really good value for your money! Even though here’s no AC the fans work great.

Really nice hostel! Great breakfast and very attentive owners. The only negative thing was that there were no curtains in the female dorm on the upper beds and in the mixed fan dorm it was really warm during the daytime. Bit everything else was nice!

Had a lovely stay here! It was quite social if you’re up for it. The breakfast was really good with a lot of different options. Only the upper beds did not have curtains, which would have been nice. Would stay here again!

Das Hostel ist sehr schön, gepflegt und gut gelegen. Das Frühstück bekommt man im anliegenden Restaurant morgens. Dass einzige was man aussetzen könnte wäre, dass es nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche gibt.

Only hostel on the island but it was quiet and a nice place to stay. You get free breakfast from Miss Island which has good bread! The rooms don’t have AC but each row has it’s own big fan that works fine. Showera and toilets are clean. Bookcase to take a book from, and a small common area by the reception.

Walking distance to everything as island is so small. Air con in the room and breakfast included. Everything is clean in the room and facilities and there’s laundry service, everything you need!

Nice hostel with an amazing breakfast. 10 bed dorm was good even though the top bunks don’t have a curtain. Fresh mangos from the garden were amazing. Lots of options for food nearby. Koh Mook is a lovely island, wish I could have stayed longer than 3 nights. Would definitely come back. Not a very social hostel but enough other solo travellers around to meet and hang out with.

The free breakfast is really good! The guy at the front desk is very friendly and willing to help out. Only a 10 min walk from the pier and you’re close to loads of restaurants and little shops.
