Kaniu Lombok Hostel

In unserem Hostel-Zimmer waren insgesamt 18 Betten. Es hat im Zimmer extrem unangenehm gerochen und dadurch, dass die Bett-Kapseln so tief nach hinten gingen, kam die Klimaanlage überhaupt nicht an. Zu dem schlimmen Geruch kam also noch die Wärme dazu, was es noch viel unangenehmer machte. Die Duschen und Toiletten waren wie die Schlafkapseln ebenfalls nicht besonders sauber.

when i checkouts the receptionist said i only had 75k excess left - i booked a airport transfer a couple days before and paid 200k for that through card and was told all ok. then the morning of leaving comes and i go i stated before and throughout the drive ive already paid at reception and the driver said nothing. it gets to the airport and he turns round demanding money saying im a scammer and wishing karma on me, i agree to pay so he’d let me out the car and he chased me through the air...

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but this time I had no choice. I stayed 5 nights and overall the hostel was good. However, on the last night, a live rat entered our dorm and even climbed into the beds, including mine. In the morning, the staff blamed us, saying it was because of the rain and the door being left open. They didn’t seem surprised, which makes me think this happened before. No refund was offered. Apart from this huge red flag, the stay and people were nice.

BEDBUGS! Hebben ons geld niet terug gekregen en moesten midden in de nacht een nieuwe accomodatie zoeken. Ik zou dit hostel zeker niet aanraden aan kennissen

Our room when we got there had no working AC and after talking to some guys who had been there for 3 months they said it hadn’t worked the entire time! and this was in a 16 person dorm! there was no food available to order. and we weren’t able to shower till 5 hours after we got there because there were no towels available??

Super dirty, my bed was in a 12+ bed dorm most other hostel would advertise the number of beds in a dorm especially with that size. I had to leave before I could stay the entire night.

Got bedbugs in my bed here. The staff was helpful in offering a place for my stuff and free laundry, but their boss would not agree to a full refund. I think bedbugs are a big problem in this hostel and they are not tackling it properly.

Worst and most chaotic hostel I’ve stayed in. We had a reservation for 3 beds and 3 nights. At the day of our arrival I called them up to inform them that we will arrive a bit late which wasn’t a problem for them. When we arrived at 11pm they could only give us 2 beds (we paid a reservation for 3 beds). So I had to go at night through the city to look for another accommodation and ended up sleeping at the pool lounge because every other hostel was already closed. After that I asked 3 days in...

by all means i recommend you to avoid this hotel, i had booked it because i needed somewhere to sleep and i didn't read the reviews, i arrived wanting to sleep but then i was eaten alive by the bed bugs, and i decided to sleep outside, but since this hostel has 0 rules people were in the pool talking and drinking until 4 am, staff accused me that i brought the bed bugs!! which they aslo did to the other person with the review here, really, there is nothing that should make you book this place.

The hostel itself is nice, but I got bedbugs there, and at least two other guests did as well. When I reported it to the staff, they didn’t believe me and I had to argue for a refund when I left early because of that.

Liked the location and the scooter rental and the people and the dorms. Just know when you book it’s 16 bed dorms but I didn’t mind

Heel fijn en chill hostel! Wij hebben voor 2 nachten geboekt en ook met 2 verlengd. Fijne bedden, alles is schoon en personeel is aardig en behulpzaam. Goede chill plekken bij het zwembad.

Not bad at all but a bit boring no events or social stuff

One of the best hostels I stayed in. Super social and great common area. Beds are great and quite private for a dorm. Facilities are clean and perfect. The staff is lovely and will help you with anything.

Really good place to stay. Very relaxed and nice staff. Attracted a nice blend of partying and relaxing. Found myself extending a few times as I didn’t want to leave 😂

Lovely staff, helpful, kind and friendly. Rooms were nice with good storage. Bathrooms lacked lighting and the showers could do with some shower heads, but other than that, would highly recommend. Thank you

Cute small hostel with lovely staff and an overall chill vibe, good double bed to sleep in but a thin sheet as a blanket, was quite cold some nights. The bed storage/locker, wasnt too secure, there is a little lock in it but the wood can be bend with some force and it would open the bed lock, I just always took my valueables with me (had my things stolen before elsewhere) had a good time and loved all the staff :) gonna miss that mashed avo toast w extra eggs and fruit of the day for breakfast:)

Me and my friend had an excellent stay at this hostel. Lovely staff, very clean, and lovely social area. Would highly recommend.

Great comfy beds. Very private, spacious pods with big lockable drawers. Really good bathrooms too. Good pool and social area. Hostel feels social if you want to make friends but is not a party hostel
