+ I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The bedrooms and common areas were unbearably hot due to poor air circulation, and the bathrooms were unhygienic. As one of the guests, the hostel felt neglected and uncomfortable. I hope the management addresses these issues for future guests. Even though I didn't sleep over in this facility, I couldn't stand it because of the poorly hygienic bathroom and the female bedroom. I rebooked other accommodations after checking in.
- All of them post pictures on the totally different website that seems like telling a lie. It says 4 bunk beds, but there were 10 pods in a small room, uncomfortably air circulation and unhygienic.

- Every person staying there seems to be a member of staff yet the place is really filthy cockroaches everywhere and they created a bad vibe. Someone stole my wash bag with my toothbrush etc & the manager was really rude. The location was not good either. Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in.
Well structured engineering trap in an intriguing mysterious location with questionable water tubing system and local water source fractionation. Basment with powder smell and dangerous stairs, psychological kitchen trap with window for smokers resembling narcotic facility. Fractionation of the rooms creates moldic breating poison air with choking sounds from shared room friends. Alcoholics and toxic people in degradation trying to recover on a bench or a stair outside. Please close this place.

- It wasn’t kept to a high standard of cleanliness ( the bathrooms specifically). It was very messy in the female dorm, of course this is not the hostels fault. The room was located next to the reception where the common areas are and it was very loud.
+ I loved this hostel!! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! I loved the events they put on and their rooftop is amazing! Great location too

+ This hostel was the best hostel I have ever been too. First of all it’s always clean becouse it’s gets cleaned at least 4 times a day by the staff. Talking about the staff they are so friendly and always there to help you. Also they have every day a different event, I like the free bbq the most. And the best part ist the rooftop where you can lay down enjoy the sun or have some drinks with your friends.

+ The hostel was the perfect place to come back to after a day exploring sydney! I liked that it was easy to get to the beach and the city from here. There were also really great events like cocktail night and pasta night which were nice for me to meet other travellers! Slept well each night as the hostel is away from the main road and while it was social, I wasn’t woken up at all by excessive noise or other guests! Would recommend it looking for a Sydney Hostel

The WiFi was excellent. I found there were too many Spanish speakers, so I didn't really fit in. I really hate that they have three smoking areas, which led to having some of my meals while inhaling second-hand cigarette smoke. The fan in the room was useless. The long termers were extremely messy, and the guy below me took most of the space around the bunk bed. The plug socket by the bed was awkward to use. I wouldn't rate this 7.7, that's for sure. I did like the big mugs for tea though.

Muy lindo el hostal para latinos, gran comunidad. Todo estuvo muy bien, solo creo que las regaderas son un poco incómodas porque no hay mucho donde poner tu ropa y tus cosas y algunas están muy reducidas pero fuera de eso increíble. También esto es gusto personal pero prefiero cama con cortina, aquí pues todo el tiempo estás pegado y con vista a los demás y varios de mis compañeros de cuarto me dejaban sus zapatos alrededor de mi cama jaja
i love this place! the building itself is small but makes for wonderfully communal common areas - close quarters makes for quick friends. dorm rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen are all well kept and maintained! but what really makes this place special are the people, the staff are lovely and the nightly events are a riot. all my best to the fine folks at mad monkey bayswater!
+ Here at MM Bayswater I found the perfect combination of nice people, and a cheerful environment without it being too crazy that you wont be able to sleep at night. Silence hours and very much respected so you get that rest you need to start the day fully recovered. I loved that the hostel has activities everyday cause thats (in my opinion) what gives it "the hostel vibe" , moments where you can interact with the rest of the guests, have a laugh and maybe even make some plans for your next days here. Everything from pasta night to trivia night is very well organized and you can see its all done with love and care from the staff. Would deffinitely come back and 100% recommend you staying here if, like me, you are new to town. Here you will get some nice rest and make cool friends, all being just minutes away from CBD Sydney.
- The plugs in our room are not working so we need to use a shared extension cord which can be a bit tricky sometimes. I would also recommend putting privacy curtains in the beds for more confort....also, in the description it makes it look like you have gym privileges included on the room price, but actually what you get is a discount for a nearby gym, it would be good to correct that. Other than that, no complains at all.
