I rent a room and I was so bad, it was really ugly, and hot. I would never stay in a place like this again. Now I know why they do not have pictures of it.

Honestly, I typically don't leave reviews, but I'm extremely upset with how they manage this place. The rooms are barely clean - mine had beer cans from previous guests lying around for over two days. I paid $20+ per night, which is more than the usual rates in the area. On my first night, I was given a bed that was already taken. Personal poco resolutivo y cero amable. El wifi no ha funcionado en 2 días. Difícil ducharte con el agua que cae en las duchas, literalmente cae un hilo de agua... Y para rematar no se hacen responsables de los robos dentro de la habitación,cuando las cosas personales las guardas en lockers con candado y las habitaciones no tienen llave,mínimo pedir disculpas o hacerte cargo. À FUIR nous avons eu la chance et étions dans une chambre avec air conditionné mais 99% des chambres n’en ont pas et la chaleur est insoutenable c’est impossible de dormir. L’eau ne sortait pas de la douche et était sale. Les toilettes se bouchaient sans cesse. premier jour nous payons 9€, 3eme jour pour la même chambre, 25€ pcq week-end. J’ai mi mes affaires dans un locker avec un cadenas, mais je me suis fait voler, 250 €, et l‘hostel n’a rien voulu entendre.

Terrible place. Very rude staff and filthy rooms. Shower didn’t work. Ac didn’t work. Sheets were badly stained. Never stay here.

The worst hostel I’ve ever been in Latin America, we got cold treatment from the girls in the reception, I got an up bed with no ladder and no socket, I asked to move to other room with the same beds and the girl asked me for money, I told her that it’s the same amount of bed and I’ve never asked to get paid before, after couple of talking she said to me ok you can move with unwillingness to talk with me The room was dirty and the place is not well and not worth the money

You couldn’t pay me to stay there again, no fans, so loud (not because of partying either just loud)

Location good. The room was unclean with a bathroom that was horrible - you don't want to shower there. The beds were extremely shaky and uncomfortable. It was very noisy from the guests outside the room and also the traffic.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Me and my traveling buddy show up late night at 11pm with a reservation the night shift guy says he can't help us check in cause he does not know how to do it and that we have to come back in the morning to talk to the front desk that he's just the security so i had to find another place walking around with 2 surfboards and 2 back packs each! So they STOLE my $4 dollar deposit and sent me away

The stuff is not friendly at all. My friend came to the hostel after drinking too much alcohol and I asked them to give me something to clean his puke all over the floor. They said it’s my problem and didn’t even give me something to clean it. All they care about is your money and nothing else. 0 service awareness and willingness

Amazing staff! so kind and helpful, every one of them!! Feels more like a hotel than a hostel, very clean and there are always workers around cleaning. Great free breakfast and surf board rental, perfect central location and amazing shuttles to the beaches. Thank you🫶

Locatie is top, de kamers zijn helaas erg gehorig. Daarnaast is het personeel onbehulpzaam en spreken ze geen Engels.

It's a really good location but for that reason it's really loud, would suggest earplugs for sleeping for sure. If you get a top bunk they do tend to wiggle a lot so beware. The shower/bathroom situation in the nicer dorm with AC was good but we were in a shared dorm with 2 girls (we're two guys) and let's just say I felt for the girls in the morning with the single bathroom. Location couldn't be better and the cheap shuttles to the beaches and back were awesome.

Die Unterkunft war top und hat absolut unseren Erwartungen entsprochen. Gerade der Durchzug im Zimmer war gut.

Honestly one of the best hostels in San Juan Del Sur! It feels more like a hotel and if you’re looking for a social hostel then this place may not be for you. However for me that was perfect and the location is everything, so close to the beach and restaurants. This really helps as taxis can be so expensive and they offer shuttles to some beautiful beaches! The rooms were decent and good working A/C however the walls are very thin and you can hear the movements from your upstair neighbors.

Decent private room with A/C. Not very friendly or social vibes. Had a ridiculous band playing extremely loud music well past “quiet time” and did nothing to address our concerns about this. Guess quiet time only applies to guests and not the hostel if they are making money. Don’t stay here on the weekend if you want to sleep at a decent time.

The hostel is very quiet for party people nothing. The beds are comfortable, the fronts at the bedside don't bring much, but better than none. it only has fans in the room, which can be very hot from time to time but it was okay.

Friendly staff, clean place, good location near the centre in a quiet place. The rooms get really hot tho, but overall a great stay. Sadly no rooftopbar yet and no good spots to get to know your hostelmates

Sobrevalorado sucio había un condon en el piso del baño que estuvo ahí dos días seguidos se ve que no hacen limpieza muy seguido ubicación buena está cerca de los buses que van a Rivas

Good stay for one night, it’s really nice and breezy in the rooms so the fan and air con aren’t even needed. The shuttles to the beach are really convenient as well

The reception is gorgeous upon arrival. But even in a private room with bathroom it was just not worth the amount paid. We had a/c and it cooled the room but not to the extent of the setting. Overall just an ok stay. Would choose somewhere else in SJDS next time.

Great place overall! Think we had bad luck but there was a bad paint smell, our aircon didnt work, and a really bad smell came from our shower

Die Zimmer sind ok. Es gab für 10 Betten nur zwei Steckdosen und ein Badezimmer. Die Stockbetten sind durchgelegen und sehr sehr wackelig. Das Zimmer war auch hell und heiß. Ein Ventilator war leider kaputt (es gibt keine AC), was vom Hostel aber einfach ignoriert wurde. Generell war der Service eher schlecht. Mitarbeiter unfreundlich bzw. nicht wirklich bemüht zu helfen oder unfähig. Frühstück war gut, das Caffee das zum Hostel gehört auch. Nachts manchmal extrem laut live Musik.

Does the job, okay overall. Potentially a tad overpriced but maybe the prices were high as we stayed over New Year. Great surf lesson organised by the Hostel, and loved the free shuttle service to nearby Playa Maderas.

If you stay here definitely pick a room with a/c because the fans do not cool you down much so the rooms get very hot! Staff are so friendly and really helpful (best part about the place). The kitchen doesn’t have much in so it’s hard to cook and you’ll have to eat out most nights. Finally the bathrooms didn’t have any hand wash which isn’t great and there’s no where to put your things other than the floor. Beds were ok 👍

I stayed in an 8-bed dorm, and unfortunately, my experience was far from positive. The room was dirty, and the bathroom was in an even worse condition. The balcony door didn’t close properly, there was no air conditioning, and the staff were not very friendly. There were almost no people so not social at all. Overall, I cannot recommend staying here.
