Stayed start Nov 2025 | This used to be a hostal but they’ve renovated the place. It now has more individual rooms. Still they have the awesome rooftop with views equal to what is depicted on the 20 RMB note. If you are looking for a central place with bright clean rooms and friendly staff; this is it. But don’t expect a social place, because it has more a hotel ambiance. Mountain view rooms do not come with balcony and also not with street noise. In the evening it’s very quiet in Xing Pin...

Ideal location being so close to the river Li. The rooftop terrace had an incredible view. The staff were really accommodating and helped me plan my days in Xingping as well as providing me with a bicycle when I visited the old fishing village. The rooms themselves were very clean and had great facilities. Would definitely stay here again.
