Villa Shade

We arrived un Sri Lanka and stayed few days in la Villa Shade. Perfect for arriving smoothly! The pool is really appreciated! Thank you Shiraj for your hospitality and kindness. The breakfast was also amazing!

Very friendly staff, extremely honouring and helpful treatment, nice facilities and pool, not busy at all. Pretty basic rooms but all I needed - the AC wasn’t working that well. Overall I definitely enjoyed my stay at Villa Shade, would 100% recommend this for other people and travellers.

Very beautiful place with amazingly helpful staff. Great for first or last night given its close to the airport. Not social though to meet other travellers

Really recommend this place. The owner is really nice and friendly. Made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The place is beautiful with a lot of nature around you. The owner has an own garden with a lot of different vegetables en fruit which he used in the meals they serve, and its delicious. The pool is a good way to cool down and they have a basketball and volleybal place for the kids. Once again, really recommend this place.

Villa shade is a great place to stay. The owners will do everything they can to make your stay as good as possible.

Wow! I was blown away by how lovely this place is - you will find a peaceful oasis with a gorgeous swimming pool and gardens, lovely staff who made me a wonderful breakfast and very comfortable rooms. I felt really looked after by the hosts and it was the perfect place to decompress after a long flight. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a tranquil stay with delicious food and a beautiful pool to refresh in!

Shiraj made us so welcome from the moment we got there (even though we arrived 4 hours early!) We loved our room, the outside shower and had an amazing breakfast. It’s a short tuk tuk ride away from Negombo beach and town. Our host really made our stay and it was a perfect start to our time in Sri lanka!

Would definitely book this again! The host is amazing, super friendly and it immediately felt like home. He goes out of his way to make you as comfortable as possible. The place is very calm, super clean and the food is just amazing. It is situated a bit further than most accommodations in Negombo but that definitely doesn't take away from the experiences. Most things are just a tuktuk ride away.

This is the best accomodation in Negombo. The two owners (him and his wife) do everything to make you feel comfortable. It’s a beautiful environment with an organic garden where they grow their own fruits and vegetables. Very beautiful poolside as well. He is very enthusiastic to tell you all about it. Definitely worth the money. Oh and the breakfast is very tasty as well. 100% recommend.
