Botanic Avenue Hostel

Very nice,clean and tidy place. Staff and host are very helpful. The location is perfect, short walking distance to city centre and plenty nice restaurants/bars nearby. Surprised by the breakfast bar, the free toiletries and fresh towel provided. Definitely a good value.

Very nice clean hostel, small kitchen, TV room and Wi-Fi within walking distance to the city centre. It was easy to find, met some nice people staying there. Would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to stay a few nights to check out Belfast!

Great kitchen well stocked pod coffee, ground or instant. G0ood selection.of teas. Staff absolutely WONDERFUL.

Excellent experience with them, we are a tour company and they are always willing to help, they even helped one of our customers shipping a forgotten tablet to London.

Great location.

Il s’agit d’une petite auberge de jeunesse de seulement deux chambres, une salle de bain, un WC, une cuisine et un salon. Les lits étaient confortables, et l’ensemble était très propre et ordonné. L’emplacement est plutôt central. Seul bémol, les chambres donnent sur la route et les fenêtres ne sont pas très épaisses … un peu bruyant donc, mais dans l’ensemble, je recommande.

DO NOT BOOK!!!! I left immediately after checking in, the first time I've ever done that. There are no locks on the doors, the rooms look absolutely nothing like the pictures. And the actual floorpan is horrible. I booked the 6 bed female dorm, walked into a room with a propped open door facing a private bedroom who had a man laying in bed looking directly into the room, also there were 2 single beds not the 3 bunks like the images. The rooms were spotless and I met lovely people who were also travelling. I also cooked tasty things in the kitchen, which was easy to do as there were shops nearby. The kitchen is also stocked up with breakfast foods for guests. Agnieszka, the owner, is also lovely and super helpful. 😊 The rooms and beds are affordable too.

I love this hostel! I mainly love this hostel was because of the hosts. I felt uncomfortable for some reasons I will not divulge but the hosts were very accommodating and very kind about it and were willing to do anything to help me. They made me feel safe and welcome. I would give this small hostel 4.5 stars. It has only two shared bathrooms. There is one shared shower for all located in one of those two bathrooms. It is located in a college area which is a big plus for me. Linens were really clean and bed more comfortable than I expected. Shared kitchen with fridge was helpful.

Will not be back. When we’d try to talk to the staff, they seemed annoyed or like we were wasting their time. They also gave us the wrong code to get into the hostel and the call button half-works. It was always frustrating and annoying to get in.

This is a good hostel but don't confuse it with Botanical Backpackers like I did, as I hadn't received the check in communication. Reception at the Backpackers was extremely helpful, without them I wouldn't have known how to find this place or who to speak to, to access it. Time for a name change? Hopefully the admin was an unusual oversight.

The location is unbeatable, and the hostel was clean and well-kept. The reason why I'm not giving it 5* is because I think it was slightly overpriced, and the person at reception wasn't the nicest hospitality worker I've ever met.

Very modern and clean. It's all you need for few nights in Belfast. Perfect location.

Drop off customer ( backpackers ) off at the Hostel ,Bad experience I got was while make sure my customers got in ,drop to 2 the floor and race back down to get my bus I got a ticket ( Tops 4 mins ) very bad ( I wouldn't mind but I had customer on the bus as well )
