Worum Es Geht
Meide alle Reisen in die algerischen Grenzzonen, die von den strengsten offiziellen Hinweisen erfasst sind. Wenn deine Route Grenzübertritte auf dem Landweg, Wüstenabschnitte, abgelegene Grenzprovinzen oder die Gegend um Tindouf / die Sahraoui-Camps betrifft, prüfe die genaue Straße, den Übergang und die Provinz, bevor du Transport buchst. Mehrere Quellen sprechen klar dafür, solche Pläne zu streichen oder zu verschieben.
Für den Rest Algeriens bleibt der Rat erhöht. Offizielle Seiten nennen Terrorismus- und Entführungsrisiken, und manche Regierungen raten landesweit von nicht notwendiger Reise ab oder empfehlen erhöhte Vorsicht.

- Grenze zu Marokko: Kanada rät von allen Reisen innerhalb von 50 km ab, wegen erhöhter militärischer Präsenz, instabiler Sicherheitslage und schwer erkennbarer exakter Grenzlinie.
- Mali, Mauretanien, Niger: Kanada rät von allen Reisen innerhalb von 200 km ab. Auch Deutschland, das Vereinigte Königreich, Neuseeland, Japan und andere warnen vor Grenzgebieten.
- Libyen und Tunesien: Kanada rät von allen Reisen innerhalb von 50 km ab, außer bei Landreisen von und nach Tunesien über die N44 und den Grenzübergang Oum Tboul, wo zu hoher Vorsicht geraten wird. Das Vereinigte Königreich rät von allen Reisen innerhalb von 30 km zur Grenze mit Libyen und Teilen der tunesischen Grenze ab, mit milderer Empfehlung für andere Abschnitte der tunesischen Grenze.

Wie Sich Die Warnungen Auf Die Karte Verteilen
Das höchste Risiko konzentriert sich an den Grenzen. Deutschlands Hinweis vom 2026-05-14 deckt Grenzgebiete zu Tunesien, Libyen, Niger, Mali, Mauretanien und der Westsahara ab. Kanadas Seite vom 2026-05-04 nennt die Grenze zu Marokko, weitere Zonen nahe Mali, Mauretanien und Niger sowie engere Zonen nahe Libyen und Tunesien.
Die britische Empfehlung vom 2026-04-15 nennt eine 30-km-Zone entlang Algeriens Grenzen zu Libyen, Mauretanien, Mali und Niger sowie zu Tunesien in den Provinzen Illizi und Ouargla und im Chaambi-Gebiet. Für den übrigen Teil der algerisch-tunesischen Grenze innerhalb von 30 km gilt eine weichere Empfehlung.
Japans Hinweis vom 2025-03-28 nutzt vier Stufen für verschiedene gelistete Gebiete: Level 4 Evakuierung / nicht reisen, Level 3 nicht reisen, Level 2 nicht notwendige Reisen vermeiden und Level 1 erhöhte Vorsicht. Neuseeland setzt Algerien auf seiner Seite vom 2024-11-27 landesweit auf erhöhte Vorsicht und rät von Reisen innerhalb von 50 km der Grenzregionen zu Libyen, Mali, Mauretanien, Niger und Tunesien ab.
Frankreich, die Schweiz, Spanien und Italien arbeiten mit regionalen Systemen. Frankreich markiert Sicherheitszonen in Algerien in Rot, Orange und Gelb. Die Schweiz rät von Reisen in einzelne Landesteile ab, darunter abgelegene Bergregionen der Kabylei und benannte Provinzen oder Grenzgebiete. Spanien warnt vor bestimmten Bewegungen in Grenzzonen und vor Reisen in die Sahraoui-Camps in Tindouf. Italien listet mehrere Provinzen und Regionen unter besonderer Vorsicht, mit Empfehlungen von Verzicht auf nicht notwendige Reisen bis zu erhöhter Vorsicht.

Wenn deine Planung eine Grenzzone berührt, such auf der aktuellen Seite deiner Regierung nach der genauen Straße, dem Übergang, der Provinz oder dem Wüstenabschnitt. Die offiziellen Hinweise sprechen dafür, mehrere Grenzfahrten zu vermeiden oder zu verschieben; sie stützen keine pauschale Behauptung, dass ein bestimmtes Verkehrsmittel in ganz Algerien sicherer ist.
Wenn deine Reise auf städtisches Algerien beschränkt ist, ist der Rat weniger hart, aber weiterhin erhöht. Kanada nennt Terrorismus- und Entführungsrisiken für Algerien allgemein. Australien führt Algerien auf "Exercise a high degree of caution". Irland stuft Algerien auf High Degree of Caution ein und merkt an, dass Luft-, See- und Landgrenzen teilweise offen sind.
Wenn deine Reise von einem Landgrenzübertritt abhängt, prüf am selben Tag noch einmal den Hinweis, bevor du Geld festmachst. Kanada nennt eine enge Ausnahme für Tunesien über die N44 und den Übergang Oum Tboul, rät dort aber trotzdem zu hoher Vorsicht.
