Hostal Florencia

Do not book this hostel, they turned me away because they said they were “shut down” I was given no warning or anything. Go to the hostel down the street it’s much better.

The staff were lovely, location great. Breakfast was a jam sandwich. Bed was easily the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept in. It was in a clear ‘V’ shape with the dip. New mattresses and the place would be grand!

The staff are really lovely which is a common occurrence with other reviews. Places in a quiet street which is nice and not too far from the main areas. The security is good as they always look both the reception and the garage door however the rooms and shower and toilet facilities are very old. Also where the rooms the blankets were very used and the bed mattress was super old and needed to be changed. We also enjoyed of door handle coming off multiple times as well which shows a lack of care.

Nice lady running the hostel. But the breakfast was dry bread and jam. And when we where there there was some problem with the water so sometimes no water and if you had to take a shower which was basically outdoors you had to tell them and then you had like 5 minutes.

I had a great stay. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Showers were hot and wifi worked well which was a huge bonus! The host is incredibly lovely and always made us feel welcome. The free breakfast is very basic and there wasn’t much of an atmosphere while I was there, but overall I had a great stay and would recommend this hostal.

Hôtel très rustique, les douches sont chaudes mais en extérieur, les matelas un peu défraîchis. Dommage car pas d’espace pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs. La propriétaire est néanmoins très aimable.

Quite expensive for what it is. Breakfast is a banana and a dry bread roll. Really friendly owner though

Comfortable enough for one night. More like a guest house than a hostel. I didn’t see any other guests. Location is slightly away and uphill from the lake. Room was a little cold at night time.

Super chill hostel! The staff is super helpful and caring! My girlfriend got sick before we arrived and the staff was super caring and made sure we could check in early and stay a night longer in the same room. They even called the doctor for us! They were really really nice

Lovely hostel with a nice outdoor courtyard, and staff friendly. Breakfast could have been better, and had to ask for toilet roll. But hot showers and quiet rooms.

We had a wonderful stay here! It’s clean and comfortable, the location is great and the staff is very very friendly! 10/10! Can only recommend

Super séjour à l’Hostal Florencia ! Magnifique terrasse avec vue sur l’eglise et le lac, le personnel était adorable et nous avons pu laisser nos sacs pendant notre excursion sur l’Isla del Sol !

The owner was super super nice during our stay and let us leave our bags whilst we went to Isla del Sol for 2 nights. The owner really made us feel at home.the wifi is amazing too which is nice and theres lots of extra blankets for when you want them.

If you are looking for an affordable hostel in Copacabana this is definitely worth it! The owner is so lovely and helpful and there are lots of bathroom facilities which are kept pretty clean. The rooms are a bit basic and the mattresses could do with being updated but overall it is a great hostel for the price

Super séjour, le personnel est aux petits soins avec nous, hyper accueillant, très aidant, et on rigole bien avec eux. La laverie sur place, dépôt en fin de matinée pour récupérer le soir est un vrai plus. Les chambres individuelles sont fonctionnelles, on s’y sent bien. Je recommande !

Un lieu très agréable, tenu par une famille très accueillante. Les prix sont tres raisonnable, je recommande!

Compared to what else is on offer in Copacabana we had a good stay for the price and extended a night. Short 10 min walk to the pier and the bus stop even closer. Plenty of blankets on the bed so we were warm and cozy. Downside for me was the cleanliness - the microwave was full of gunk and some bathrooms were dirty (there were a few on each floor). There was no other kitchen facilities and the breakfast was a self serve and very basic with things often running out and not getting replaced unles...

Lovely quiet hostel , with basic facilities but always very clean. Staff were very friendly. No common areas, so not much of a social hostel but perfect for a quiet few nights in copacabana

staff was very friendly, good place to stay for 2 days, did the day trip to isla del sol that was amazing :)

The location is convenient and the rooms are simple but the property provides you with everything you need. The best part is the owner grandma who has the best advice for everything in town. She provided excellent food recommendations and even tours for isla del sol that saved me effort and time. strongly recommend staying here

Experiencia genial

Amazing place to stay. Mary who runs it is the sweetest woman you’ll ever meet. She’s very helpful and will give you all the information you’ll need. She’s friendly and chatty and makes you feel right at home. It’s a great location close enough to everything but far enough away that it’s quiet. Great price and there is a free breakfast downstairs in the morning. If I’m ever back here this is where I’ll be staying

Great value. It’s basically a low budget hotel being there are no dorms. Bathrooms are just ok but at least there are plenty. Atmosphere was non existent.

Only stayed for one night, bit of a retro establishment but pretty good overall. The lady who owns the place was so friendly and helpful!
