Leider kam es zu keiner Übernachtung. 2 Tage vor meiner Ankunft wurde mir wegen Überbuchung der Aufenthalt storniert, was für mich unerklärlich ist, da ich sehr frühzeitig gebucht habe und ich es daher nicht besonders fair fand. The awesome reviews were tempting, so I made the booking on hostelworld and made a partial payment. On my way to langwaki, I received an email that said that my booking was cancelled by "accident," but they still had a bed for me. I sent them my number and got a call from Nadia, and she was nice on the call. I told her I'd arrive at 3 and call her when I arrive. When I did, she never answered or called back! Had all my valuables stolen while staying here, had to leave for early flight so couldn’t hang around to file police report etc. messaged the hostel and they said they’d done one for me. Asked for a copy of report and have just been ghosted by the host. Have messaged several times now and still no response. Other people in the dorm had stuff stolen as well. During my stay, staff were never around- saw 1 member when checking in- other than that there was never anyone available at the hostel.

Water stopped working on my 1st day and therefore there was no drinking water, running shower, sink or flushable toilets. also believe the bedding had given my head lice during my 2 day stay so not impressed!! also not super social. if you are on a top bunk and someone is walking around the 1 dorm the hostel has you entire bunk shakes making it very frustrating trying to sleep!

No free breakfast, no host and a wobbly floor We were really excited about our stay here based on all the reviews about a family feel, lots of cats and nadia the host. I don't know what's going on with the manager of this place. I left some things in the locker and took the key back to Kuala Lumpur. When she suggested I send the key by mail, I did so as soon as I received confirmation from her. She promised to send the items back to me within two days (I promised to cover all costs), but then she went silent and didn't respond. I contacted Agoda for assistance, and they said they had tried to contact her multiple times without success.

The idea of this hostel is nice but the absolute lack of any security here made me feel a bit uneasy. There is never any staff here (just the volunteer Asha who was great!!) and the door to the room is never locked so literally anyone could walk in day or night. There was also only one working toilet when I was there for everyone in the hostel and only two showers which isn’t enough.

This is a very casually run place with no one present at the reception for most of time. Facilities are meh with just 2 washrooms between 10 people. common room is a small space with two chairs and a bench. Sheets/towels are not refereshed during your stay. AC is not allowed during the day even when it is very hot.Laundry is not possible. Breakfast is only toast and black coffee. Stay here only if you want to stay in an all women space, like cats and location is close to beach.No other benefits...

I had a wonderful stay in Bungahostel on Langkawi. The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed, and it was really easy to meet other travelers. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always giving good tips about what to do on the island. The hostel was clean, safe, and perfect for solo female travelers. Little female paradise in cenang beach, very nice atmosphere and location. Everything is super clean everyday and its a really fresh place with trees around, I will definitely come back, thank you Nadiaa you are the best😊

Cette auberge est située idéalement, le lieu est cocooning, je m'y suis sentie comme à la maison. On a pas envie de partir! je recommande vraiment

Mein Aufenthalt war super! Nadja ist so lieb, organisiert alles (inklusive ein gemeinsames Abendessen) und so ordentlich. Man fühlt sich einfach sehr wohl. Ich habe es sehr genossen. Danke!

J’ai passé un super séjour dans cette auberge. La chambre était très propre, climatisée et avec une vue sur le jardin. L’auberge est toute neuve , très jolie on s’y sent comme chez soi. De plus elle est tout près de la plage - de 10 min à pied. Nadia la gérante est super gentille , de bon conseil et s’est montré disponible. Je recommande !

Amazing female hostel, friendly people, peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. Nadia (the owner) is a lovely lady! Such a pleasant place with a good vibe. Perfect for solo female travellers. Nearby here is a cafe with a nice breakfast and very good coffee!

Nadia is an amazing host. She knows everything about Langkawi. I know people who have stayed there and absolutely love it.

Beautiful hideout for travellers🥰🤩Day out exploring the island and night stays in having some drinks with friends or just put urself there enjoying the peace of nature. We stayed at Bunga Hostel for 3 nights and it was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in! The owner was so helpful and friendly and the hostel itself was beautiful and had a great feel to it- would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Langkawi

Absolutely gorgeous hostel, Nadia is so lovely and so helpful, easily sorted out my ferry to koh lipe, it’s such a lovely space, two minutes from the beach, one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in❤️

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hostel is clean, has a nice vibe and it's in a very peaceful environment. It was easy to meet people. Feels like a home. Would definitely recommend staying here.
