Sehr nette ältere Frau, die sehr hilfsbereit ist. Manchmal zu hilfsbereit. Zimmer waren okay. Das einzig wirklich negative ist die Lage.
Very nice older Frau, who is very helpful. sometimes too helpful. rooms were okay. the only really negative thing is the situation.
Place is nice and the host is nice but omg the number of animals that make noises outside the house at night. They have every kind of animal and they make so much noise is so hard to sleep
The hostel is very quiet and a little set back from the main part of the city. May and her family are really lively and helped us book everything we needed to see the sights around Puerto Princesa. There are plenty of spots within a 10-15 minute walk for food and drinks. We loved our stay
Decent hostel. Not very central though and owner has birds that chirped all night. Also little dated but the owners were friendly.
Wholesome guesthouse and the staff were very attentive, until the last day where they forgot about my flight and my transfer to the airport! The room was big with good aircon, however was not the cleanest.
Sehr nette Gastgeberin, manchmal etwas zu kommunikativ am frühen Morgen, aber sehr hilfsbereit! Die Zimmer sehen leider anders aus als auf den Bildern. Trotzdem für eine Nacht beim ankommen auf Palawan oder vor dem Abflug eine sehr gute Unterkunft!!
If I could rate this homestay on kindness alone, it would be 10/10. May and her husband are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond, offering complimentary coffee, breakfast, help organising activities, and even a late-night airport drop-off. The room was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and felt very safe. The only downside is the location: little within walking distance, though taxis to town are likely cheap. Recommended, keeping location in mind.

Mon séjour était bien pour une nuit. May était très gentil et aidante. Bon petit déjeuner. Service linge. Les perroquets sont amusants. L’air conditionné n’était pas très fort. Globalement ravi et bon rapport qualité prix. Cependant la gestion de mon transfert avec l’hôte de Salvacion à Port Barton après la rivière souterraine était très confuse et stressante (1h30 d’attente au point de rdv et pas clair avec l’organisateur et le guide…) dmg car ça a gâché un peu...
My stay was good for one night. May was very kind and helpful. Good breakfast. Linen service. The parrots are fun. The air conditioning was not very strong. Overall pleased and good value for money. However the management of my transfer with the Salvación host to Port Barton after the underground river was very confusing and stressful (1h30 waiting at the rdv point and not clear with the organizer and guide...) dmg because it ruined my day a bit this unnecessary stress
Staff was super kind and helpful, definitely stay here!

Very sweet stay if you are looking for a local guesthouse! Room was simple and large, AC worked okay, and WiFi was inconsistent. The highlight was chatting with May and her husband over breakfast each morning - they are eager to chat with travelers and are very kind. Reminds me of staying with my grandma :) would recommend if you are looking for that, look somewhere else if you’re looking for a social, modern hostel vibe.

We loved our stay with May! It was our first stop on our backpacking trip and May helped us feel right at home. We had a lovely breakfast each morning and she helped with booking our trip to the underground river and transport to our next stop. Also gave great recommendations and advice about what else to do during our stay! The room had lots of space with a comfy bed and good aircon! Would 100% stay here again if ever back in Palawan!

Comfy, clean and quiet property outside of the hustle and bustle of puerto princessa center. May was the sweetest and welcomed me with open arms when I arrived later in the evening on my arrival date. Felt like I was staying with my Auntie. Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer.
Great hostel. Intimate atmosphere perfect for couples. I wish more travelers would stay longer in puerto princesa. I strongly recommend this hostel if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway from the hustle of life or if your getting in from plane or shuttle. The hostel owners are really sweet and treated us like family. Thank you so much for your hospitality and kindness during our stay!
One of the best hostel rooms we’ve stayed in. It’s like a good hotel room. The host was very accommodating and we were able to leave our bags whilst we went on a 3 day trip. It only loses some point due to the location being slightly out of the way which normally we don’t mind but there isn’t really a restaurant within walking distance. However it’s ideal if you’re looking for somewhere quiet. Also, they have pet birds that are quite annoying and disturb you in the night/early morn...

The host is a very sweet lady who wants to arrange anything for you. Room was spacious and clean. About 5-10 minute walk to the Centre.
Loved our stopover here. The owner May is so welcoming, helpful, friendly, lovely you name it! She was so accommodating and helped us with a van to port Barton. She advised we go straight there instead of trying to go to pristine beach which we were very thankful for

The host May is incredible and will look after you! The area is a bit of a walk from the main city (about 20 mins) I didn’t mind. Overall I’m very happy I booked with May!
We had a really good stay here, our host was very attentive to all our needs. Only negative was ththe shower pressure was a bit weak, other than that no complaints at all!
Really nice place to stay. Mae the owner goes out of her way to make sure you feel safe and comfortable and have everything you need. Only thing I have to say is the shower could be a bit more powerful but other than that great place to stay in PP!
