During my stay at this hostel, there was a bedbug infestation in my room, which was very poorly handled by the hostel as a whole. We only found out about it because the guest staying in the same room as us told us; otherwise, we wouldn't even have known that they had sprayed poison on our belongings, and we would have left with several bites. Apart from this trauma, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is good.
Echoing other reviewers: the hostel staff are rude and unpleasant. In addition, even though it says breakfast is included online they claim it is not when requested. The kitchen is absolutely tiny and there is not room for more than one person in there at a time. There are also no windows in the rooms so it is very dark.
Very tiny rooms without any lockers. The bathrooms were most of the time dirty and we didn’t feel safe there. Another traveler told us that there was a thief in his room. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hostel but the location was at least nice and it’s cheap.
Tínhamos café da manhã incluído, mas não nos deram o café. Muito barulho durante a noite de gente entrando e saíndo do quarto, não dá pra dormir
We had breakfast included, but we didn't mind coffee. very noisy during the night of people coming in and out of the room, not able to sleep
No windows in rooms. No ladders on correct beds. No lockers anywhere. No curtains on beds. No mirror in rooms. The breakfast was a let down - do not have high hopes for it. The only benefit to this hostel is its location. If you are looking for a hostel just to sleep in then it’s fine. However if not, I would not recommend. The hostel was not sociable at all and did not have anything to offer the guests.
Bien pour une nuit mais l'odeur d'humidité et de saleté dans la chambre imprègne les draps et la salle de bain, rendant l'expérience compliquée. Des histoires de surbooking on fait que des gens dormaient en tente sur la terrasse de l'auberge à côté de la cuisine commune. La cuisine est assez étriquée mais on s'y débrouille, malgré la présence de cafards dans les placards à vaisselle. Le personnel était très sympa mais dans l'ensemble on est contente de n'y passer qu'une nuit !
Good for one night but the smell of moisture and dirt in the room permeates the sheets and the bathroom, making the experience complicated. stories of overbooking have it that people slept in tents on the terrace of the inn next to the common kitchen. the kitchen is quite narrow but we manage, despite the presence of cockroaches in the cupboards. the staff was very friendly but overall we are happy to spend only one night there !
Bon hostel pour une nuit ou deux mais pas plus, assez bruyant mais bon rapport qualité prix, et petit déjeuner pas cher en option
Good hostel for a night or two but no more, pretty noisy but good value for money, and cheap breakfast on option
It's okayish. The room I stayed at was a bit tiny and there were no windows. The people staying there were also many old man and people who seemed to be living there. Wifi was great and the reception staff aswell.
Todo muy bien, solo que no tienen lockers para guardar maletas/mochilas y eso pues genera un poco de inseguridad.
All very well, except they don't have lockers to store suitcases/backpacks and that can generate a bit of insecurity.

We loved the staff at this hostel they were so funny and helpful. It was well cheap and right in the centre of the action.

Buena relación calidad precio si buscas algo económico. Mejoraria la atención al llegar, ya que no se nos dió ningun tipo de indicación ni consejos. Buena ubicación. Habitación con aire acondicionado fue fundamental para poder dormir.
Good price/quality ratio if you are looking for something economical. the service would improve upon arrival, as we were not given any kind of directions or tips. good location. air conditioned room was essential to be able to sleep.
Great location. Timber bunks. Light, power & usb charging. Towel provided. Functional kitchen. Liquid soap in bathrooms. Roof terrace. No privacy curtains. No lockers.
Very good and economic stay in the heart of the walled city of Cartagena, I really recommend if you stay a couple of days in the city. The facilities are very good and kept clean, the dorms are basic but enough.

Better than expected for a cheap bed in a prime location. Very clean, cute and comfortable beds. Main problem is there is very little space to put your things so everything has to be put away in your luggage at all times. My booking said breakfast is included but when I checked in they said it wasn’t - it was cheap so I didn’t care. AC is turned off during the hottest part of day so plan to be elsewhere ;)

Muy agradable mí estancia en el hostal, me quedé en una habitación compartida con otra chica, cerca de los baños y duchas y escogí que incluía el desayuno. La ubicación me gustó mucho.
I stayed in a room shared with another girl, near the bathrooms and showers and chose a room that included breakfast.
Very great hostel and I don’t have much to complain about perhaps because I only stayed there for 3 nights. Staff great, wifi, bathroom, clean beds, close to fun places, and security at night.

El hostel cumple muy bien con todo lo necesario y lo que se describe. Excelente ubicación dentro de la ciudad amurallada, cerca de todo. Las recepcionistas y chicas de limpieza unas divinas, súper amables. La cocina es muy pequeña y hay muuucha gente, razón por la cual es difícil encontrar un momento para cocinar o lugar en la heladera. Puse menor puntuación en “ambiente” ya que hay muchos europeos y norteamericanos que se sirven de la heladera como si todo fuera suyo y dejan la cocin...
The hostel meets very well with everything necessary and what is described. Excellent location within the walled city, close to everything. The receptionists and cleaning girls are divine, super friendly. The kitchen is very small and there are a lot of people, which is why it is difficult to find a time to cook or a place in the refrigerator. Put lower score in ambiente since there are many Europeans and North Americans who use the refrigerator as if everything were theirs and leave the kitchen...
