I had a wonderful stay at Casa de Lis - I was only there for 3 nights but met so many lovely people and felt like I was part of the community. The staff were beyond helpful as well as being up for a chat! The bedroom was lovely and clean with a fan, mosquito plug, shampoo, soap, towels etc and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you might need. The garden and roof terrace are also really lovely to sit in. Very well located in town close to shops, market, supermarket and bus station.
Absolutely beautiful hostel with the nicest hosts! I’d recommend it to everyone who wants to stay in a home like hostel in Turrialba. You can also book tours right at the reception and they will help you to organise everything
Ich hab mich direkt wie zu Hause gefühlt. Trotz des Trubels auf der Straße ist es im Hostel ruhig und entspannt. Die Dachterrasse war gemütlich mit schönem Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Mein Highlight: Maria war für mich die gute Seele des „Casa de Lis“ und hat mir so sehr bei allem geholfen. Lieben Dank für die schöne Zeit in Turrialba!
I felt right at home. Despite the troubles on the road, it is quiet and relaxed in the hostel. The roof terrace was cozy with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Mein Highlight: Maria was the good soul of the Casa de Lis for me and helped me so much with everything. Thank you so much for the wonderful time in Turrialba!

We had a great time in Casa de Lis. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The little coffee corner, kitchen, garden and roof top have everything you need. No complaints about the room either. The best accommodation we had on our Costa Rica trip
Lovely hostel with wonderful staff (special shout-out to Abi who was super helpful and kind to us). Also loved the rooftop terrace and garden!
Nice chilly place in Turrialba, really friendly and helpfull staff and also nice tours: we did the Café Viña tour (authentic!) and 1 day Rafting (awesome landscape and excellent captain, so we felt save). We would come to Casa de Lis again.

Great staff, space and stay!! I only booked one night and could have stayed longer, if it wasn't so far from San Jose.
Great hostel. My second time staying here. Rooms are always comfy. Staff are great and really helpful! Great location. Close to everything in Turrialba town. Just bear in mind that it is a quiet hostel.
