I stayed in this hostel for one night, the location is not bad, but on the first floor there is a club that works until three or four in the morning, it is very loud, it is impossible to sleep normally, I also ended up being bitten by bedbugs, because in the morning I had a strong allergic reaction

Punaises de lit, infiltration d’eau dans les douches, bruit constant du fait de la boîte de nuit dans le même bâtiment sans isolation sonore.

Samen met mijn vereniging zijn wij langgewenst bij ACH voor een weekend weg. Wij waren in eerste instantie door alle reviews over bedwantsen e.d. erg bang voor de situatie in het hostel. Wij konden echter niet meer annuleren. We hebben voor aanvang erg veel contact gehouden met het hostel, die ons er meermaals van verzekerde dat de situatie verholpen was. We hebben de kamers bij aanvang gecontroleerd, en dit leek allemaal prima in orde. Door de loop van het weekend was het contact met het hostel erg fijn, en daarnaast waren ze voor ons een grote hulp en erg coulant met betrekking tot wat chaotische avondsituaties. Wat mij betreft een prima accommodatie voor een grote groep studenten die gezelligheid zoeken in Antwerpen!

BED BUGS EVERYWHERE!!! FLEEEEEEEE!

Cleaning is superficial, there is a bad smell in the stairwell, and the biggest problem is that the place has BED BUGS, so you can worry about whether you take them home with you! Due to the central location, the area is noisy, which becomes worse on weekends.

!! Bedbugs !! They don't even address the problem and don't answer to emails

Bedwantsen (!), in t bed voelde ik nog de vorm van alle voorgangers (matras doorgezakt), stinkt in de hal en zo nog wel wat. Locatie was goed voor wat t waard is. Doe jezelf een plezier en geef wat meer geld uit voor een ander hostel. Tenzij je graag vriendjes in de vorm van bedwantsen mee naar huis wil nemen

ER ZIJN BEDWANTSEN!!!!!! UPDATE (3 dagen na originele review hierboven): het hostel commente op mijn review of ik contact met ze op wil nemen, dus bel ik het hostel daarnet. Krijg ik gelijk een hele boze mevrouw aan de telefoon die naar eigen zeggen de eigenaresse is, en dat boos wordt "wat ik nou eigenlijk van haar wil!!!" en niets voor me kan doen qua geld terug of iets dergelijks "omdat ze elke week de kamers ontsmetten dus wij misschien zelf wel de bedwantsen mee naar het hostel hebben genomen". Aangezien er zo super veel reviews zijn over bedwantsen is dat een heel irreëel scenario maar dat wilde ze niet horen. Toen ik vroeg waarom zij of een van haar collega's dan op mijn originele review had gereageerd of ik contact met ze op wilde nemen als ze niet bereid is om mee te denken/te helpen, werd ze boos en hing ze op. Kortom, niet heen gaan: de eigenaresse heeft een kort lontje, de medewerkers zijn niet aardig en het hotel zit vol bedwantsen en verwarde/dronken gasten!

Echt een top locatie! Maar daar is dan ook alles mee gezegd. Er hangt een ontzettend nare geur in het gebouw en het bevindt zich in hetzelfde pand als een club die tot 5uur is geopend. Je kan dus "lekker meegenieten" terwijl je probeert te slapen. Er zijn bedwantsen aanwezig. Het ergste was nog dat er opeens een zwerver in onze kamer stond en na dit te hebben gemeld bij de receptie, deden ze alsof hun neus bloedde (en kwam de zwerver gewoon terug!). Al met al, slechte ervaring

Geen aanrader. Je ligt boven een club en ik kon elk woord van de muziek horen. De bedden trilden zelfs mee. De club is open tot 5:00 dus dan kan je pas slapen. Nog belangrijker: er zijn bedwantsen (zie foto). Wij moesten alles invriezen bij thuiskomst. Ik zou gewoon niet gaan eigenlijk.

Expérience très mauvaise. Je ne recommande pas du tout. Nous avons dormi 1 nuit dans une chambre de 18 personnes et nous avons retrouver des punaises de lits et autres insectes dans la chambre. Pour un hôtel situé sur la grande place et donc très touristique c’est tout simplement impensable. À éviter à tout prix ! De plus, il y avait des insectes sur les ustensiles de la cantine, sur les assiettes par exemple. Les gérants ont vraiment besoin de résoudre ce problème car apparemment ce n’est pas la première fois que quelqu’un en voit ni de fait piquer.

Présence de punaises de lit dans la chambre ET présence de bêtes sur les assiettes du petit déjeuner que nous n’avons même pas pris là au vu de l’hygiène. Lorsque trop de personnes se lavent, il n’y a plus d’eau dans les canalisations. Et pour finir, il n’y avait pas d’échelle pour monter sur les lits superposés. À FUIR ABSOLUMENT !

The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. I felt like they have heart in the matter. Thought I have two issues. The location is in the middle of the city where people party until five. You need to have the windows open or it will get too hot, so you will not sleep well in that noise. Also, as soon as the night fell I got visited by bedbugs. The next morning I told the staff. They seemed to take it seriously and I could leave without paying.

Yesterday for night 13.07.2025 review will be the most unique of all because there is a lot of evidence: bites from bedbugs and workers (managers) assault and a stranger who did not work in the hostel blocked the entrance to MY ROOM with snow and waved his arms (the one in the photo with the girl) FORGET about social distancing, especially if you are an attractive girl. In general, the service is crap. A girl wanted to violently take away my key card for no reason, only because I defended myself from a crazy man and ran very quickly after me almost to the street, but there were cameras and people. The key card to the room and with aggression and all the time shouted down and gave words, talked like with a child. Forget about respect as a client. I had to: CALL THE POLICE!!!! I paid for 2 weeks .. I gave them many chances and carpets, but in response there was rudeness and bites from bedbugs. It's impossible to sleep and the walls are shaking. Dr. from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Moral freaks) There's also a perverted night manager who stalks tired guests at night who are just going to the toilet or on personal business. Most of the time the man's hand on picture withe girlwas at a distance of 10 cm and with cutting chaotic movements. He would have the strength and courage to do this to a man. I asked 6-7 TIMES to keep a social distance. They violated all possible not only as a hotel but as a gathering of marinala. If they are unfaithful to me consider small money, then they will feel what a dead grab is metapherically. I will not leave this institution and its existence for now until I wait for the change and the return of money for the remaining 12 days

Bedwantsen in kamer, geen hulp Het is opzich een prima hostel voor de prijs die je ervoor betaald, maar helaas vonden wij bedwantsen in twee bedden en werden verder niet geholpen, waardoor we helaas maar een dag eerder zijn vertrokken. Op latere mails en pogingen tot contact hebben we nooit meer iets gehoord. Tips voor toekomstige reizigers: - Controleer altijd je bed en kamer bij aankomst.

the place was creepy. There was bed bugs in my room, DO NOT STAY HERE. the staff didnt care about the bugs either. such a weird hostel, please just pay more money and stay at the ash hostel!!!!

I criticised cleaning & told him infested with bed bugs . the manager got angry & starts shouting I don't pay his staff .after his shouting brings my anger out ,this loser runs out like a little girl & calls the cops when I refused to leave .what's he gonna do ? he can't fight his own battles & runs to cops for help .pathetic little girl .

I told the manager about the bed bugs ,I had photos of the bed bugs .he tried to shout how I don't pay his staff ,he shouts till I lose my temper & refuse to leave .then after his shouting brings my angry response he runs out like a little bitch to call the police .no cops will scare me .I tell the cops he shouts every day at customers who don't stand up to this small dick coward .end result is the manager can't fight his own battles ,he runs to cops like the bitch he is .

It could be a great place to stay for one night but there were bedbugs (!) in the room, which is totally unacceptable.

From the beginning my experience with this hostel was quite bad. When I arrived, I was given a key to 18-bed dormitory, while my reservation clearly stated a 10-bed dormitory. There was only one place free, on the top of bunk bed, but this bed had no ladder to climb to the top (every other beds had one). The guy on the reception promised to do something about it the next day (and yep, he did nothing). The next day I had to explain the whole thing to another person at the reception. She found someone to finally put a ladder on my bed. But couldn't explain me why my reservation was changes without notice nor she could find any solution to have a calmer room. At that point I've already started to get some weird "allergy" on my hands, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I realized what that was the next day, after the check out. Cause this "allergy" appeared also on my back, on my shoulder and my legs. I was actually bitten by bedbugs!!! I've informed the hostel about them but didn't get any reply (yet). Now I'm praying that I didn't bring these little pests home in my luggage. I've been to a lot of hostels around Europe, but this one is by far worst one. UPDATE: I accidentally found out that I paid for this hostel twice. I was debited right after my reservation AND was asked to pay again upon my arrival to the hostel. After a few exchanges with the hostel, they paid me back, saying "everybody makes mistakes". I was lucky to check my bank account... I also asked for a full refund because of the bugs bites, but this demand was refused. They offered me "a free stay on my next visit" which is laughable cause I'll never stay in this again.

They had bedbugs. Me and other 12 girls had to be moved out the room because we were getting bites from bedbugs, and it was clearly not the first time that happened since they knew perfectly what to do and had some special lotion prepared for it. Really disgusting. Never again.
