Thamel Grand Hotel

It's a 3 star hotel but there are things in the room that are too old, a little broken, with dirt stains. Not like a 3 star hotel level. In my room the water only had mildly warm water. In another room there was boiling water. The service representative in the morning named Corona was always very kind and nice and helped me with everything I needed to do in the area which is very important!! The service representative who works in the afternoon was not helpful and also forgot things.

I stayed at grand Thamel three different times during my stay in Nepal. The property was clean and safe and I was greeted warmly each day. It was centrally located and easy to enjoy the surrounding areas of Tamil. The staff was very helpful and attended to any request that I made. The attached restaurant, Black Olive, was a great place for breakfast and a popular place for other meals as well. The food was great!
