Hostel Ini.kobe & Brun donut cafe

Very unclear how to check in, apparently they send an email but it was in my spam so I didn’t know. Also it topk a very long time to enter because there was no one at the reception. They should have sent an message or something for better understanding of the system. Also the floor was very dirty, alot of hairs. They hd nice facilities but a bit dirty. There was no locker for your backpack in the room. Also the room smelled of sigaret smoke, not nice.

Simple and easy online check in. Mattresses were not very comfy, but didn’t bother me for one night. Only one shared shower. Our door didn’t close or lock. No place to lock your valuables. The luggage storage is just in the hallway. Clean enough and decent kitchen. Did not see or talk to any staff. Very quiet, not social. Definitely recommend getting a matcha donut downstairs! All in all - nothing bad just nothing special!

Nice place but not so clean. Especially the kitchen. Not the best walking location but not so bad, about 15 minutes from the city center, close to public transportation though.

No proper cutlery and no towel otherwise everything was quite nice.

I had a great stay here! The hostel is clean, comfortable, and has a really homey vibe. The host was absolutely lovely. We had a great chat, and she went above and beyond to help me plan the rest of my trip around Japan. I would definitely recommend staying here. The doughnuts downstairs are also a bonus!

Echt een geweldig lieve hostess. Ze heeft ons allemaal leuke eettentjes en bezienswaardigheden van Kobe doorgestuurd. Ook heeft ze voor ons gratis donuts geregeld van de tent daaronder.

Super Hostel! Il est assez bien placé, prêt du centre donc on peut tout faire à pied, et de nombreux supermarchés autour. La gérante est vraiment très gentille et n’hésite pas à faire la conversation! Elle n’hésite aussi pas à aider si on a besoin de recommandation pour les visites à Kobe (je tiens à préciser qu’il n’y a vraiment pas grand chose à voir à Kobe). Je recommande!

Nice and basic hostel. Good kitchen area. You don’t meet any staff and check in is not the easiest. Located quite far from the main city. Clean and tidy.

The location is a bit of a walk out of the city centre, but close to the port. It close to some convenience stores, and the social atmosphere is quite fun, albeit small. The beds aren’t comfortable, as they’re very thing but for a night or two in Kobe, it’s fine.
