nice property, great location, welcoming staff - a bit noisy at night and bathroom facilities could have been cleaner.

lovely stay in ohakune! the lodge is very close to the carrot park which is what we came to ohakune for. we payed 20 dollars for a hot tub and sauna session and that was an amazing bonus of this hostel. the kitchen is very small, but being summer there was no competition to use it. the lounge is nice with a big tv and there is nice outdoor space. staff were friendly and helpful. the showers were standard.

only stayed here one night but it was clean and the staff were helpful.

This didn’t seem like a hostel. Private rooms were the only thing available when I booked. Cheapest accommodation in the town. Nice facilities, had a kitchen. It was just like a hotel but having a shared bathroom and kitchen. Free hot tub for guests was really nice. 30 minute walk away from the train station but right in the center of the town.
