Bodega Koh Phi Phi

I booked this hostel and when I got there they moved me to a different hostel which smelled so bad. If I had known I wasn't staying in this hostel I wouldn't have booked.

Paid 3600 THB for 2 nights while others paid just $800—a blatant scam. The advertising is deceptive, promising a pool and a lively atmosphere that simply don’t exist. The beds are unbearably uncomfortable, and the management lacks integrity, prioritizing profit over guest experience. To make matters worse, they had the audacity to offer a drink in exchange for a good review—a transparent attempt to cover their dishonesty. Avoid at all costs to protect your wallet and tranquility.

Wasted most of our first day arguing with the staff as they were accusing us of having not paid the 500 baht deposit. We 100% had paid it so I don’t know if it was incompetence or if they were trying to scam money out of us. I demanded that they play the cctv from the camera behind the till but they wouldn’t. It made us feel uncomfortable during our entire stay.

Staff couldn't speak any english, it was really dirty, especially the beds! It was far up from everything else on the island and there were no good hang out areas, so it was really hard to connect to others. Would never go there again.

Don’t recommend this hostel. It’s very clean and staff are friendly but, the mattresses are so uncomfortable and bed is unstable/loud when you move. The WiFi is terrible, shower ran out of water a lot, coffee was not nice. Walls are really thin I could hear walking around upstairs and someone use the bathroom in the next room. The hostel is 5-10 min walk from the main centre so you don’t get pub noise but it’s where the locals live so you hear them at work all hours of the day and night.

Booked 3 months in advance. When we arrived they told us all the rooms were full and they ‘lost our booking’ (this was at 6pm). Had to scramble to try and find alternate accommodation. Avoid this place if you can.

We were disappointed with this hostel. Mould in the bathroom ceiling, beds unstable, stained towels, no curtains and linen was a letdown. Despite the name, it is not a party hostel. The main owners were friendly however there were no social events organised by the hostel. We checked out a night early due to illness however they kindly accommodated putting us into another room the night before to not spread sickness. We hope that the hostel can renovate and improve.

The bathroom floor was permanently wet, the toilet paper bin was full all the time. In our 3 nights at the bodega hostel our room never got cleaned. There was also a random guy standing in our 4 bed dorm in the middle of the night. I didn't feel safe in this hostel.

Because the beds weren’t delivered by the time I arrived I couldn’t stay at the hostel. They promised me they will not charge anything and let HostelWorld know about it. Now my stay got charged and the staff is not available. I hope I’ll get my money back somehow :(

Perfect spot to stay, a little bit further away from the center but within 10 min walk you get to everywhere. Good bed, clean hostel and good staff. I would stay here again.

4 kişilik kadın odasında 1 gece kaldım. Yatak berbattı, çok rahatsızdı, içine göçmüştü. Bu yüzden günlerdir bel ağrısı çekiyorum. Ücretini ödediğim halde 1 gece daha kalamadım ve hosteli değiştirmek zorunda kaldım. Ayrıca oturma alanında tahta tabureler var. Oturup sosyalleşmek isterseniz pek uygun bir yer değil. Banyoya askı koymaları gerek. Konumu iy, limana 15 dklık bir yürüme mesafesinde. Çalışanlar nazik ve temiz bir hostel.

Neben meinem Bett war ein Insektennest. Als ich den das gezeigt habe haben sie es auch direkt weggemacht. Sehr nettes Personal. Aber irgendwie hat es sich insgesamt nicht sauber angefüllt:/

Très bon auberge à 10min à pied du centre de Phi Phi. Les chambres sont propres, le personnel est très agréable. B mol pour la sdb et son évacuation douteuse, mais nous avons passé un bon séjour 😊

The location is off and you have to walk through streets that doesnt feel too nice walking alone. The staff was being loud outside of our dorms during the nights, not a social hostel at all. It was clean though.

overall good quality, location, and services, perhaps a littlelittle on the small side not much of a community space.

Não gostei muito , e olha que não sou enjoado com quase nada, o hostel parece que tava meio abandonado , faltando cuidados básicos e o teto do banheiro desabou quando um rapaz estava tô amando banho , por sorte não atingiu ele

A impressão que tive que as instalações são bem frágeis , o teto do banheiro chegou a cair , quase que acerta a cabeça de um hóspede , os lockers alguns são fechados apenas na parte da frente , e os quartos no geral são pequenos, a equipe do hostel super gente boa , mas na parte das instalações não gostei e não indicaria esse lugar.

This hostel was basic, but for 5€ a night you can’t complain! It’s definitely not a party hostel, and doesn’t really have any group activities, but you still meet people. It works together with slumber party hostel so you can also go there and chil. The staff is very friendly.

Good room have curtains and you can have free drinks in slumber not far from party and the beach definitely come to stay here again

there is clean hostel and private curtain good staff Nui is the best hope everyone come to visite him small swimming pool you need it when you comeback from late night party the hotels is in middle of the town so you can walk to long beach and nights party easy also recommended to book a boat tour with them it is cheaper than outside

Nice place, but rooms were very basic. Was not social at all but that was probably because it is not peak season at this point. Could have been cleaned a little better.

BEDBUGS!! They were everywhere in the room. On top of that it’s absolutely not a party hostel since no events whatsoever + no one in the hostel. The bedbugs have immense consequences so avoid at all cost

Not a bad hostel, a bit out of the way to get to but a decent price. Advertising is a bit misleading as there was no party vibe, only ever saw 1 or 2 people in the communal area so if that’s what you’re looking for then this ain’t the place
