Yawning Fields Guesthouse

Wir hatten die Unterkunft kurzfristig am Abend zuvor gebucht. Als wir ankamen, war aber leider nichts für uns frei, da die Buchung übersehen und das Zimmer somit doppelt vergeben wurde. Das Team entschuldigte sich, konnte uns aber ansonsten nur an andere Unterkünfte verweisen, die deutlich teurer waren. Die Atmosphäre wirkte entspannt, leider überwiegt aber jetzt der unprofessionelle Charakter.

We told them we’d be late an asked if they’d stay till half 9 because our bus got us to Pai late. Maps took us the wrong way an we ended up getting there at 9:40. We stayed in contact with the owner who said it was fine. We got there an there was no one there. Owner told us we was late a workers had already left leaving us stranded.

No había aire condicionado. La habitación tenía hormigas. Los baños al aire libre sucios. Tenía para dos noches…. me fui no pude quedarme otra noche mas

It's a very basic bungalow, but you get what you pay for. The price is very low. An inconvenience was that they are building more bungalows across the alley, so it's noisy in the morning.

Great place to do and meet nothing. Awesome, beautiful area but you either need a moped or just not eat, as the restaurant is always closed and there is nothing nearby and you also get no fridge or microwave..

Wauw, this place is so beautifull & not expensive for the private room and chill balcony that you get! I also liked the breakfast that you could buy in their little restaurant. Because of this space, it was also possible to socialize with people. And the owners are very kind people! Only small minus: my ‘house’ was quite far away from the sink & toilet.

It’s a very special place, but I can see it’s not for everyone. It’ seats in the middle of rice pads kind of in the country side. I could see the mountains and the buddha over the rice plantation. It’s tanning The bangalows are very basic, which was fine for me! You would need a scooter to go to town, although you can walk (20 min). It’s very peaceful!! The owner is a cutie!!

It's not my first stay at these wonderful, peaceful and calm place, Sorrunded by ricefields but close to town. Ming and her family are very welcoming and helpful. Love to come back.

Wunderschöner Ort in der Natur und perfekt um fernab vom Trubel abzuschalten. Die Lage ist allerdings nichts für Leute, die nah am Zentrum sein möchten. Für die wundervolle Atmosphäre und Idylle lohnt sich der ca. 15 min lange Weg aber. Nachts wird es etwas kalt, sonst war alles perfekt!

This is such a beautiful place to stay, especially if you love nature. The owners Mink and Jake are amazing. Highly reccomend staying here!

Such an amazing place to stay in Pai! Owners are great and the location is perfect. Easily the place I’ve stayed at in Thailand. Highly recommend!

The only thing that wasn’t perfect is I didn’t expect it to be so cold at night inside the house. Since it is made of bamboo the outside and inside temperature was the same and the given blanket not enough for me. But with my sleeping back it worked out fine. Besides that I liked everything about the place. It had the nicest shower and restroom of my whole trip. It had a community place but also you could be by yourself. It had good breakfast right on the hostel side and it’s was quiet at ...

Loved it sooo much!!! Will come back as soon as possible. Mink and Jake are so kind!

absolutely love yawning fields. mink is wonderful but not for the easily offended,her dry sense of humour is very enjoyable if you allow it to it will certainly win you over. I was sad to leave

I loved my stay in Yawning Fields!! This is such a hidden gem. After staying in the city for 2 nights I came here and I had the best time. You wont regret it. I can’t wait to come back.

Very lovely accommodation where you are peacefully for your self. Bring earplugs, because the birds, crickets and frogs don't care if you want to sleep in.

My partner and I shared a double bed private room with en-suite bathroom. Pros: The beds and bathrooms are clean, you’re surrounded by wildlife and nature views, it’s only a 15 minute walk into town/bus station, the staff is super cool, there’s filtered water/bananas available, a fan is provided, towels are included, there’s no deposit, the shower gets hot, and there are hangout spots. Cons: There are a lot of ants, there is nowhere to refrigerate food, and security is a padlock on you...

such a beautiful property, we were very happy with our stay. only complaint is the 20-30 minute walk into town. if you’re booking one bungalow for two people, don’t book twice like the website tells you to. we did and the guy seemed pretty annoyed about it, maybe add it to your description
