Dortmund as a city doesn’t have too much to offer. I wouldn’t really advise staying at this hostel for a max of 2 nights. I don’t want to complain too much as I’m sure the staff work hard. Just didn’t feel too comfortable in my room but maybe that’s on the guests? Overall there really isn’t much to do. The reception area is nice and open planned but there was no atmosphere when I stayed.

Worst experience of my life. I was locked out of my room every night. The cleaner took my stuff away during my stay and they cannot find it back. I had to sleep 2/3 nights without bedsheets !! There was a guy sleeping on the floor the last night They forced me to pay AGAIN my last night when I arrived the last day or told me I won’t sleep tonight. I paid everything the first day I arrived. As I wanted to check in, I was greeted by the receptionist with “oh you booked a bed in a mixed dorm as a single woman? I would’nt recommend doing that. There’s no privates or women’s only dorm left, however you can go check out 1-2 rooms with one of our security guys and pick the one you feel safest in. Just for overnight stay is fine

Staff was really nice. But in the hostel (in the room as well as the lobby) were some weird people and I just went there to sleep. Rooms were ok for the price, but I won´t come back! It was pretty loud too.

Terrible place people were disrespectful. The staff were ok with my limited interaction but it seemed unorganised as I was assigned a specific bed number and there was no way of knowing which bed it belonged to which led to people shining torches on everyone at 1am trying to find their spot. The dorm we were in also included twin beds next to each other which was odd and the power socket on my bunk wasn’t working. This place is cheap and it shows

Dirty sheets for the beds. Staff seemed uninterested. Rooms over looking road very loud. Inflated prices per night for football weekends very disappointing. Paying high prices for basic facilities. Location is good.

Looked like someone had blown their nose on my pillow, evening staff incredibly uninterested and unhelpful.

Very dodgy experience to be honest. I have stayed there before and wasn’t like that. Three illegal Albanians were camping at the room drinking and behaving violently at night waiting for some kind of mafia leader who entered the room at midnight to collect some money from them with the promise of bringing them some fake documents the next day so they could stay in the country.

Very helpful staff, on a busy day. Rooms were clean, bedding could have been a little more comfortable (mattress wasn't great), but for the cost and location I would return.

it’s just a cheap place to stay. the facilities aren’t great, the common room downstairs isn’t comfortable to sit down and chill, and there was a woman just going around asking for money, I don’t know if she was a guest. the room was okay, but cleaning could’ve been better and the shower needs upgrading. the woman in my room seemed to live there as her things were all over the place, and she acted like she owned the room, and kept the tv on the whole night. it was really unpleasant

Honestly I was surprised to see such a clean hostel. Had a very comfortable night and its very close to the city centre and train station overall it was a great experience!

Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt, besonders hervorzuheben die Hbf-Nähe, das freundliche Personal, die Sauberkeit und die extrem bequeme Matratze. Negativ: 1. Keine Steckdose am Bett. Was soll das im Jahre 2026? - 2. Licht am Bett defekt, der Regelfall bei mindestens jedem 2. a&o Aufenthalt. Warum kann man diesen Dauer-Missstand nicht endlich mal beheben?? Warum kann das Personal das nicht wenigstens täglich checken, wenn schon keine stabile Stromleitung hinzukriegen ist??ES NERV...

A személyzet kedves, a szoba az ágyak és a wc tiszta van törölköző, van tusfürdő, melegvíz jó, a wifi jó. Kicsit lepattant a szállás, az egyik szekrényajtó le volt szakadva, a zuhanyzó vízköves a Tv és a távirányító régi, a szállás elég avitt, a fűtés kevés. Olcsó és jó. Ajánlom szegény turistáknak

it's all good but having to bring your own lock is ridiculous.. I've never encountered that. I think the dorm that I stayed at has a long term inhabitant thats a bit obnoxious (mildly said) Too bad cause the location is great,it's super affordable and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Good hostel option very close to Dortmund main station (5 minutes walk). Good value for money, it's alright for a short stay.

Hostel a cumplido mis expectativas, cerca a la estación de tren, el centro de la ciudad y el comercio. Los servicios excelentes incluida la atención de su personal de counter. Los recomiendo.

Ich würde dort auf kein Fall nochmal bleiben, das einzige Positive ist der Preis (für Deutschland) und die Lage. Ich blieb dort nur, weil ich früh zum Flughafen musste, aber früh schlafen Fehlanzeige. Ich musste das Zimmer wechseln,weil einer fast ohnmächtig war vor Trunkenheit,aber trotzdem noch deutlich Lärm machen konnte. In dem anderen Zimmer war eine Affenhitze und einer schnarchte brutal laut. Dazu kam, dass von draußen dermaßen viel Lärm ins Zimmer drang, von Leuten die laut ...

The absence of a 'Guest kitchen' is poor, particularly for the size of the hostel and the number of travellers (me included) denied the opportunity to prepare a hot meal and ro make a hit drink - and of their choice. Bunk beds shook a lot. the power sockets were located well below the mattress frame and their was no bed light at any bed - in the 8 bed Mxd Dorm.

Mediocre hostel when all is said and done. Our room was sizeable but had a poor smell. Room wasn’t very clean either. If cleanliness and facilities are improved the price would have been justified. Near to the station is good however it is very far from the Football stadium which is the reason for a lot of visits.

It was good, but some rooms were given to dirty people, where it was impossible to even breathe. You have no instructions about room cleanliness, manners, and respect for each other. The papers you give to guests should include essential items.It should mention that guests should keep the environment clean and not disturb other guests throughout the day.
