Punto Salta Hostel

Nosotros llegamos a las 18hs y vinieron a las 21hs a cambiarnos por una habitacion pero que No habiamos añquilado o de lo contrario nos devian el dinero para que nos vayamos. Nos quedamos igual despues de varias discusiones. Muy malos tratos, prepotentes y maleducados.Aunaschicaslespasmaleducados.A unas chicas les paso lo mismo. Faltaba limpieza.

Reservé desde Neuquén. Me cobraron la seña. El dia que llegué nos fijeron que se habia ocupado todo. Una estafa! No lo recomiendo. Viaje con mi mamá, cansadas del viaje nos quedamos sin hospedaje. Tuve que salir a buscar algo. Tarde y sin conocer la ciudad.

The only positive thing about this hostel is that it’s pretty nice. All the rest is terrible, lockers aren’t good for normal backpacks, no air conditioning in the rooms. But the worst thing is the staff, really rude, not adapt to work in an environment like that. Really annoying to us for the check out even before the time, and smoking cigarettes in the kitchen while we were having breakfast.

Do not spend your money here! It’s a scheme! Book it on two different occasions and they sent us to their other hostel on the other side of town. And they were also really rude about it. Don’t even bother going, very unfriendly and unpleasant experience!!!

Muy mala, cuando llegue me dijeron que la reserva no se había realizado, pese a que había pagado con una semana de anticipación el precio de reserva

INADMISIBLE ! Había reservado una habitación para 4 pero cuando llegué, dijeron que no había plaza y que debíamos ir a un otro hostel del mismo dueño. El otro hostel estaba sucio y mucho más peor que el reservado. Además querían que pagaremos el mismo precio aunque este hostel era más barato. Teníamos que negociar como 1 hora solo para pagar el precio justo del hostel (17 000 pesos contra 24 000 para el reservado). Nunca tratar con este dueño que piensa que puede poner la gente a don...

the reception Lady was awful.....spent 35mins for check in and finally got a dirty bed...... awful 😩

Je suis déçu car je me suis présentée avec le numéro de réservation, le mail de confirmation et ma réservation sur Hostelworld. Rien a faire on nous a envoyé dans un foyer de jeunes travailleurs très mal noté et très peu sécurisé ( vol, intrusion dans les chambres, agressions)

I do not recommend this place. Indeed it is not expensive but the whole hotel is poorly maintained. The beds are not comfortable.And the worst the staff is just horrible especially a woman who just has a horrible attitude

The low rating is for the rude staff!

Despite the previous reviews, we were surprised about this hostel! It was the cheapest so far during our 6 months trip, but so nice. Very clean, very kind staff, very cosy atmosphere with a great location! We would totally recommend this to anyone!

Really affordable place in a nice part of Salta, close to the center. It was super loud, and wasn’t always the nicest environment - so don’t think I’d recommend for solo travels :)

Arrived at 7am hoping to leave my bags, but no staff were present and the door was left open. Reception is supposed to be 24/7 as advertised, but it was not. I tried calling the owner and only got a reply at 3pm. I booked another place in the meantime. Hostel looks nice and Wi-Fi works, but customer service and security are seriously lacking. Not recommended if you need early assistance or a safe place for your belongings.

Its a good hostel for the price but one of the receptionist is so rude and horribly disrespectful. The kitchen is good and its in walking distance from everything important. The rooms are fine too. I would stay again if it wasn't for her…

Google maps has incorrect correct location + there are two locations w same owner. Alvarado 1029 location is nothing special but good for the price. Facilities are good but vibe was off. Not warm and social. But again, fine for price. HOWEVER while stopping back in Salta I was put at Alvarado 266. They never wrote me the address, just sent a video at 11:30 PM. Flies everywhere, dirt in the shower, no toilet paper, no lock on door, didnt feel safe. Terrible experience. Sneaky & false ad

The bathrooms were very unclean, they didn’t have toilet paper, only one bathroom had soap and only one toiled could be flushed. For some reason we had to change rooms two hours after we arrived. Into a room were the bed was wobbling every time we moved and there were cockroaches.

Lovely little hostel in the centre of Salta, great kitchen facilities & always very clean. Nice areas to relax in the courtyard away from the hustle of the city. Kind members of staff. Just be aware to not follow the location on Google Maps, it has been pinned incorrectly, use the address as it is shown on Hostel World. Thank you for a lovely stay, I shall be back :)

La primera chica que me atendió fue muy grosera, me cobrarán de más que por ser extranjero, no respetaron el valor que me mostraba la aplicación. La segunda chica fue muy amable.
