Le Water Villa Siem Reap

- Mala atención por parte del personal. No cumplen con lo acordado y no responden de manera adecuada ante sus propios errores. El problema fue que ofrecieron una habitación con dos camas individuales cuando la reserva era para una habitación con cama doble. Se percibe una falta de profesionalidad, ética y compromiso por parte del equipo. Baños muy feos.

- After receiving 3 confirmation emails (2 standard confirmations from the manager Patric, and 1 acknowledging my requested check in time) they did not have a room for me on arrival and sent me to their other hotel in a different part of town. They would not give me a refund through booking.com or cash so that I could choose another hotel. I suspect this was an intentional bait and switch scam to use the reputation, location, and images of Le Water Villa to get me into a less desirable hotel at the same price.

+ Nothing. It was double booked so I was shuffled off to a new location nowhere near I wanted to be.

- We have booked for 2 nights with complimentary breakfast but they didn't bother to serve and we could not rake breakfast there

- BAIT AND SWITCH! I paid an above average hotel rate in Siem Reap in order to get a King size bed and balcony about a month before I arrived. When i got to Le Water Villa, they said the only room they had was right off the lobby by the front door and it had two twin beds and a nice view of a filthy alley and brick wall. They said they didn't have any other rooms, take it or leave it. Given that I had already paid for the room online and couldn't get my money back, I grudgingly took the room. While I understand things like this sometimes happen, they refused to adjust the price or move me into the room I paid for later even though I stayed there for a full week. At checkout, they made me wait in the lobby while they checked my room. I guess they wanted to make sure I didn't put any of their old furniture in my backpack. I've NEVER had that happen at a hotel in my life. Beware: They book and charge you for a premium room and then tell you they only have a much lesser room at the same price when you get there - take it or leave it.

- Unfriendly hotel stuff! It’s overbooked.  They arranged us in worse inn. No hot water shower and huge noise bar next start 10 pm to 2am.

- La chambre ne correspondait pas à ma commande (2 lits jumeaux au lieu d'un king size). Draps sales. Après intervention de ma part reconfiguration de la chambre. Pas de télé contrairement aux informations données. Petit déjeuner minimaliste. Chambre au rdc donnant sur rue bruyante. 3ème visite à Siem Reap : mon plus mauvais séjour

+ La posizione ottima a pochi passi da pub street. In una stradina poco rumorosa. La colazione non è a buffet , a scelta (1) tra uova o toast o...; e scelta (1) tra caffè o succo o .. . Nessuna opzione gluten free ma hanno sostituito il pane con della frutta.

- Avevamo prenotato per una stanza grande ma ci hanno assegnato ad una stanza molto piccola, al secondo giorno abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni e ci hanno spostato nella stanza più grande che avevamo prenotato. Questo non mi è piaciuto molto . La colazione per me era sufficiente ma per qualcuno potrebbe essere non sufficiente.

+ Close to but not in the Pub Street, etc, ...all the better ! Room is functional, everything works (except TV, but this is all over the country). Hot water, kettle, fridge, closet & hangers ...ok. Bicycle rental and transportation reservation available. Staff is very willing and smiling

- Willingness from staff is not all : some wrong info, forgot to give me back my ID card left for the bike rental, which was 3USD/day (paid only 2 in previous cities I visited).

+ All the staff was very friendly, service of cleaning room and laundry were excellent, central and very close to very good restaurants and the famous pub street!

- Poor toiletries, the entrance road was completely ruined, simple breakfast (nothing special)

+ The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful .

- The bed was a little too firm for my preference, but I complain about the firmness of the mattresses in 9 out of 10 hotels that I stayed in so don't take it to heart.

+ The location in the city center is very good, just a short walk to the entertainment area, the river, and the nightlife. The room is clean, the space is spacious, the facilities are clean, and the staff is friendly. And take care and organize private tours and more. They will guide you when you arrive at the hotel. We recommend you for your stay in Siem Reap.
