Ti Thong Hostel

Location is shady. Rooms should have been better in this price range. No space in shower area

Wir waren zu 9 in einem 10 Bett Zimmer und unseres war direkt im Erdgeschoß und neben der Rezeption, somit war es echt laut und man war halt so direkt im Eingangsbereich. Das Frauenbad war gesperrt wegen Renovierungen, das heißt wir musste alle ins Männerbad, also zwei 10 Bett Zimmer und nur 2 Klos und 2 duschen. Und dann immer durch den Eingangsbereich. Unser Zimmer hatte kein Fenster und war seeehr eng. Location war cool, Personal sehr nett und oben gab es eine Dachterrasse die meega war.

i didn’t even stay in the end i asked for a refund. the door to the GROUND FLOOR dorm wouldn’t lock and was literally taped up. my locker inside the dorm also didn’t lock so my things would’ve been accessible the whole time. the female showers and toilets were also out of use so had to use the male bathrooms which weren’t very clean. the staff had no issues in refunding me and were very apologetic.

reserve 5 camas en habitación mixta, al llegar me cobraron de acuerdo a la reserva, sin embargo al subir a la habitación la sorpresa es que me acomodaron en una habitación para 10 personas, expliqué que eso no era lo acordado en la reserva y dijeron que no podían hacer nada… nos fuimos del hostal inmediatamente y obviamente ellos cobraron la cantidad completa.

Worst two nights we’ve had on our trip so far and we’ve been travelling for 6 weeks throughout south east Asia. We were in a 10 bed dorm next to the reception / Lobby area, because of that it was extremely loud during the night/early morning. We were only able to sleep for a few hours as the other guests in our room were also very loud and ruthless. The beds were clean but felt like coffins. The area is not at all central but surrounded by random shops that close around 9 pm.

Ansich top Lage , nur leider 0 sozial keine activities zum connecten. Und es gibt zwar oben eine terasse aber es ist viel zu heiß sich da aufzuhalten daher sind alle nur im zimmer.

Point positif : le lit était confortable. Hormis ça, la salle de bain était très sale, j’ai dû aller me plaindre pour qu’on la nettoie. Pas d’eau lors de mon arrivé, on ne m’a pas averti lors de mon checking, je l’ai découvert dans la douche lol. Pas d’eau pendant 3jours, une fois sur deux ça marcher. Pas du tout un hostel pour rencontrer du monde. Le staff est moyennement aimable.

Bedsheets were stained. Very loud. Blankets are not being washed.

hôtel simplement correct et les chambres propres. Bien situé. Par contre plusieurs points négatifs: personnel peu chaleureux voir désagréable parfois, pas de clim entre 12h et 17h soit les horaires les plus chaudes à Bangkok et donc impossibilité de pouvoir se reposer dans la chambre alors qu'il fait 43 degrés dehors. Il aurait été judicieux d'au moins le préciser dans la description de l'hôtel. La terrasse ferme à 22h ce qui est dommage. Je ne recommande pas forcément.

Male staff members act like they own the place (the usual) making it uncomfortable for Male guest who just want to relax in the lobby unfortunately. To be more Pacific it's a small asian/ white guy janitor who wears a cross necklace now this guy is definitely the one who we caught a few times standing outside doors listening in on us in bathroom or room... he older lady who works there gives me very creepy manipulate vibes as well. Air con doesn't come on until 530 you will sweat like crazy

Everything was cool. Rooftop was nice, would stay again. Kind of in an alleyway but there’s a 7-11 2 minutes walking. Metro is 5 minutes.

The hostel was very good. I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm and the room was nice. The lock on my storage cubby didn’t work so that was annoying. The shower was never super warm and sometimes didn’t drain properly. However the rooftop patio was super nice. Also the ac is turned from 12-5pm so if you want to hangout at the hostel during the day you have to hangout in the common areas because our rooms were too hot. Hostel is located down a back alley so can be kind of confusing trying to find...

Me gustó aunque me gustaría que hubieran hecho mas actividades dentro del hostal. Y que arreglaran el agua caliente.

Great place to stay in Bangkok, in a quiet location and easy to get to the mrt. I would recommend to stay here for sure!

I loved this hostel but the showers need to be cleaned more regularly. There was always hair in the drain causing it to flood. The rooftop is really nice and the staff are so friendly. There’s also a local morning market which was amazing for breakfast.

Staff so was lovely and the area was quiet and cute with friendly locals. They offer activities as well and have a great rooftop!

Hostel bien situé dans le centre historique de BKK, à deux pas du Grand Palais et d’autres petits temples tout aussi beaux le long du canal. La chambre était propre et les lits confortables. Le personnel à la réception était très sympa et toujours prêts à nous renseigner. Je recommande vivement le Ti Thong Hostel !

Nettes soziales Hostel, hatte eine tolle Zeit- preis Leistung stimmt auch absolut und es gibt Handtücher

Very nice and chill hostel. The hosts are more than nice and keep everything clean. The weekend activities are fun - you should try the ice bath!

I loved staying here. The staff was so nice, welcoming and helpful! I stayed in a 4 bed dorm which was spacious, clean and comfy. It’s in a quiet area and 20 minutes by foot to Chinatown and the big temples. Would definitely stay here again!

Eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre um dem Trubel in Bangkok entfliehen zu können. Sehr freundliches Hostelpersonal und tolle Dachterrasse. Wir hatten ein Privatzimmer, was sehr entspannt war. Unserem Eindruck nach war es weniger social als andere Hostels, was aber für uns perfekt gepasst hat. Für ein Hostel sehr sauber.

I first went to Ti Thong hostel at the end of January and loved my stay so much I booked it again when visiting Bangkok a month later. Even the biggest dorms are clean, well air conditioned, the beds are comfy, and spacious with probably the softest sheets of all the hostels I’ve ever been to. The only two minuses are: - some of the staff has very limited English - both times I visited they had plumbing issues with faucet and a shower drain (nothing major tho). 9/10 would recommend!

Nice, clean hostel tucked into old town. Close to MRT. Only con if you’re solo + looking to socialize: not very lively

very good location! the hostel is a bit hidden in a narrow street, but otherwise the location is good. the staff is very helpful and in a good mood! the rooms are a bit cramped, but the beds are very soft and are very clean. they have a washing machine and a small corner with coffee etc for the guests

Sehr gutes Hostel mit top Lage. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Nur die Waschbecken könnten etwas größer sein und stellenweise fehlen manchmal Haken zum aufhängen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

This is the most value for money hostel I stayed in on my entire trip to Thailand. It's not a party hostel ans Bangkok in general is not really a backpacker city so it might end up as a truly solo experience if you're solo traveling since this isn't a party hostel but the property is great. It's clean, they provide a self-serve kitchen and have a nice rooftop area. They let you use the shower and store luggage if you arrive early.

It's a decent hostel. I have a theory that hostels in central Bangkok can only be party or non-social, as there is a nice rooftop space for meeting but guests would rather be out in town. rooms are too small to want to be able to chat with others and be in for more than sleeping but the beds and cubicles are fantastic, a really good night's sleep which is the main thing
