Terrible experience! The reception staff were extremely rude and showed no concern for guests. I had booked for three nights but left after just one, and they didn’t even bother to ask why. The hostel was unclean, with an unpleasant smell throughout. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Too much noise everywhere
Not very pleased with my stay. The private rooms are in a separate quarter, which is a three minute walk from the main Hostel. Room didn’t have an Astro light and the lighting itself was pretty dark. It’s Trying to have a quirky colonial decor overall just ends up feeling gloomy. The social area of the Hostel is actually a public café and tables are set up in style which means that natural interactions you’d expect in a hostel aren’t easy.
- No hot water
The room was really dirty, and it was totally not qualified to be rented. There were dirty towels on the floor near the windows to prevent rain from outside. Unfortunately, it was rainy during our stay. There is a lot of water when we came back after a long day outside. It was the most terrible experience in my life. Never come back again.
Beware: disorganized & bad management I booked months in advance, but when we checked in they only had one of our two rooms available. We made it work but we were told inconsistent info by staff & manager and ended up having to pay nearly full price. Beds were rock hard and shower had the worst water pressure ever. Finally, they canceled my booking the day of checkout before I was emailed a review link, so I had to contact the website and show my receipt in order to write this. Very sketchy.
The beds were stone hard. I did not have good sleep for the days staying here. Also in the comments it says you get a discount for the breakfast, which is also not true and wasn’t offered to us. Anyway the breakfast quality was rather so so for premium money however. And all of the plastic one just has to accept i guess… the worst of all was though the smell. Our whole room smelled like unflushed toilets or open canalisation. We were not able to get away that smell for more than 3 days.
+ Nous sommes reste que un jour au lieu de deux jour .
- Manqué de coopération de Manageur et Les chambres sens cannabis .
The room was next to a busy street and I literally didn't sleep for the entire stay. It's not social at all and there is also nothing organized by the hostel. The hostel itself looks nice and it is central though. Definitely can not recommend - sorry.

We booked a private room with private bath & it was exactly how we expected it to be. The room has A/C, universal outlets, towels, and a big shower. The staff was very friendly & the cafe was good for breakfast! Excellent location.
great place
+ Very nice location. Restaurant and food stalls nearby. 7eleven nearby. Good location to book grab bolt etc. Near to places and landmarks where you wanna go around and have a look. The hostel have a cafe + dorms, Rooms together, if you wanna eat there you may eat or go out your choice. The staff are nice and respectful. I got 1 hour late to check out because I woke up late, I explain them they didn't charge me anything extra, Thanks to the staff for understanding.
- Going up all the way to the room was a bit of inconvenience. Having curtains for every dorm would have been better, but it's alright. The AC was not everywhere it was in dorm and the the living area, felt quiet hot during the shower or using washroom or it might be because of the month box April I guess... Not really major points but over all you are staying there for 5-6 or longer you will adjust yourself. Mine stay was short so it didn't really matter that much.

I felt comfortable during my stay of one week here and recommend this place. It is even better than some hotels I’ve stayed in. Good location, friendly staff, clean, tasty breakfast, good airconditioning.
We booked the prived room.Very nice room, clean with big bathroom and good airco. We really liked our stay.Good for people how like privacy. There is not much interaction with other people, the commonroom was quiet (everyone was on there phone).
+ Nice location and very friendly staff!
+ The property was beautiful. The attached cafe was convenient and delicious. The location was perfect for all our needs with plenty of food options just steps from the door.
- The only negative was the noise level- the street is busy so it can be loud and the walls are rather thin. I would still book here again.
We had a great time at niras! The café downstairs is very cozy. And our room was very spacious and comfy. The area is also pretty nice in the middle of the old town of Bangkok. Only downside is the AC blowing directly at the bed so you can't really have it on in the night so it gets really hot at night. But overall we definitely recommend!

Lovely first stay for a long trip- the hostel has a really relaxed feel and the staff and visitors are so friendly. In walking distance for many sights so if that’s your thing I would recommend this hostel
