S Phuot Da Nang Hostel

Honestly one of the worst yet for me. Location was the only positive really. Creepy drunk men sat outside the hostel all day and night, bedbugs in the beds and cockroaches all over the dorm. Beds were hard with a thin blanket. Power went off a few times so was boiling in pitch black. Not social at all no common area and a weirdly placed pool in front of the creepy people. Would not stay again gross!

biggest issue i believe I had bed bugs in my room , everyday my feet would accumulate large portions of new bites - once I left this place all activities were the same but the bites stopped , I didn't like the staff they weren't helpful or friendly at all it seemed like they were mad that people were using the hostel ,the narrow pathway in the opening of the place beside a pool make 0 sense , there nowhere to put bags so they just accumulate on the ground floor,

This place is rough! I woke up every day with bed bug bites. And I saw bed bugs casually walking down my pillow. Very small and brown but clearly visible. This hostel is full of dirty young backpackers so it would be impossible to maintain basic cleanliness standards. It's a nightmare. Unfriendly staff too. Rude and talking in Vietnamese about me when I checked in. To close down areas of this hostel and do a DEEP clean and refurbish would lose this place money so they greedily carry on with the place falling apart day by day. The flooring in the entrance way is coming apart and breaking into small pieces.  Very crowded rooms and people rudely using snooze on their alarm many times, keeping everyone else awake. Not the hostels fault but there are a LOT of people in the big rooms and some are selfish.

We arrived quite late and had booked two beds in a mixed dorm, however they didn’t have enough beds for us and split us across different rooms. Bathrooms were not cleaned and unhygienic, plug holes filled with hair and bins overflowing with tissue used menstrual pads. One of our beds had bedbugs which has left bites all over her, and the night was interrupted by people slamming doors and being unnecessarily noisy (this was the guests not the hostel’s fault). Lockers and padlocks were provided.
