+ The fake reviews!! READ HERE PLS!! (Italiani legete anche voi questo!)
- I chose this hostel because of the great reviews, but they are incredibly misleading. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had in years of traveling across Asia. 1. Hostile Staff and Check-in Chaos From the moment I arrived, it was a disaster. I was told to do an online check-in and pick up keys from a lockbox. The keys were wrong. When I contacted support via WhatsApp, they told me to "just try any key." While trying to find my room, a man (who I later discovered works there) started screaming at me. He insulted me, told me I "didn't know how to read," and was incredibly aggressive—all this after I had traveled for 20 hours. 2. Disgusting Conditions The cleanliness is non-existent. The Bathroom: Absolutely disgusting. The Room: Covered in hair and dust. Privacy: The windows look directly into the hostel corridor, so there is zero privacy or peace. 3. THE WORST PART: BED BUGS The beds are rock hard, but that was the least of my problems. After 30 minutes, I felt things crawling on my skin. I turned on the light and found the bed infested with bed bugs. I tried to kill some just to get some rest because I was exhausted, but there were too many. It was a nightmare. I had to flee the hostel in the middle of the night and book somewhere else. Do not stay here. It is unsanitary, the staff is abusive, and the "good reviews" do not reflect the reality of this place. Save your money and your health!

- Absolut unterirdisch!! Ich hatte einen Tag vor meiner Ankunft gebucht. Bis zu meiner Abreise dann keine Mail oder Kontaktaufnahme mit den Checkinn-Informationen seitens des Hostels erhalten. Unterwegs hatte ich kein internet. Nach meiner Ankunft vor der Tür des Hostels steht ein Schild mit der bitte zu klingeln. Ich also geklingelt und geklingelt...keine Reaktion! Nach ca. 20min konnte ich dann zufällig mit rein gehen. Kaum war ich im Hostel musste ich mich auch noch vom unfassbar unfreundlichen Besitzer/Mitarbeiter anmachen lassen wie ich hier reingekommen bin und warum ich so oft geklingelt habe. Und ob ich zu dumm wäre mir Internet zu besorgen...sowas muss ich mir nicht geben bin dann direkt umgedreht und tschüss!! Unglaublich!! Erspart euch unfreundliches Personal und geht woanders hin!!
+ Amazing location, just a short walk from Petaling street! It was also cool to be able to sit on the rooftop and watch the world go by below. Right across from subway and buses.
- The whole place felt extremely dingy, neglected, and sad. Our room had essentially zero natural light because the tiny window was papered over by some kind of screen. There was no work desk, the rooftop cafe was nonexistent, the rooftop patio looked like it had once been lovely and vibrant but everything was now covered in black mildew. With a deep cleaning and some freshening up this place could be amazing again, but it has seen way better days. For just a few dollars more, we moved to a much bigger room at a different place with floor to ceiling windows, a clean nice bathroom, and a pool, so this place doesn't even win on value for money. Do not recommend.
- Do not recommend, the pictures do not reflect the state of the rooms at all, one of the room has a constant loud noise 24/7 as well.

- Heaps of Bed bugs :(
- Leider hat die Unterkunft ein Problem mit Bettwanzen. Wir haben sie mitten in der Nacht entdeckt. Da der Vermieter nicht zu erreichen war, blieb die Nacht schlaflos. Seine Antwort darauf, das wir Bettwanzen gefunden haben: In seinem Haus gäbe es keine Bettwanzen, wir würden uns das ausdenken um Geld zurück zu bekommen. Kein professioneller Umgang! Man sieht anhand der Bettwäsche, dass die Bettwanzen dort schon länger sind. Hier in den Bewertungen bei Booking findet man leider keinen Hinweis auf Bettwanzen. Aber wenn man sich die Google Bewertungen durchliest, sieht man, dass das Hostel schon länger ein Problem mit Bettwanzen hat. Da die Bettwanzen bereits in unseren Anziehsachen waren, mussten wir alles auf 60 Grad waschen, wodurch Anziehsachen teilweise kaputt gegangen sind.
+ The private rooms seem really nice! I would have enjoyed better staying in one of those, if you can afford, definitely recommend getting yourself a private room. The location is also brilliant.
- Shared room was too crammed, too small for the amount of people and the toilet was filthy. Bedding and floor was lacking in cleanliness as well.
+ The staff have made an effort with the communal rooftop space.
- Incredibly noisy - rooms are on the 1st floor overlooking a busy junction with traffic noise until very late at night (motorbikes, harley davidsons riding around and around the block, boy racer gurgling exhausts and cars and buses just idling at the traffic lights or 01.30 for the bin lorry!). If it isn't traffic noise its people partying on the roof until the early hours. Had to leave after 3 nights in a row with almost no sleep and go and find somewhere else to stay. Owner just said that people partying until late is to be expected so if you're looking for a party type hostel then come here. If not, stay away. It wasn't what I had expected.

+ It's a good location in Chinatown, close to the metro station and has a nice rooftop area.
- The rooms in the photos are not what you see in real life. Clearly the owner decided to renovate, and unfortunately it's not an improvement. In the pictures the rooms look bright and spacious because of the bright decor, now they have opted for a darker theme which makes the room feel small and dingy.
+ La ubicación es excelente, el lugar es para zafar, aunque al mismo tiempo es barato para ser una habitación privada en KL.
- El lugar está sin mantenimiento, la terraza podría ser agradable y está medio abandonada. La habitación es pequeña, para muy pocos días y preferiblemente una sóla persona. El baño tal cual la foto, muy reducido el espacio. El ruido como ya lo han dicho muchos comentarios es real.
The location is excellent, the place is to enjoy, although at the same time it is cheap to be a private room in KL. The place is unmaintained, the terrace could be nice and is half abandoned. The room is small, for very few days and preferably one person only. The bathroom as in the photo, very small space. The noise as many comments have already said is real.
+ The rooftop access is the best i got my work done there the room is modest but i like how it is clean and the price is worth it for me

+ This, is, a great place, near the MRT. Owner always responsive. Use of kitchen a must for us.
- Seemed noisier tha usual on the street side due to 7/11 and it's, aircon. Will ask for non street facing next time.

- I really hate writing negative reviews,but.. I stayed in many places in this part of KL , many even cheaper, and this was by far the most disappointing experience. I could survive the VERY mouldy smell of the room, weirdly semi-working AC, questionable cleanliness, and overall neglected and run-down feeling of the place. However, I could not get ANY sleep at all till 4am, the room is right next to a night club, with live music, you can hear everything even through the provided earplugs; the walls and bed vibrate with the bass, and you feel like you're right in the backstage. If you don't need to sleep and need place in this location, go for it, otherwise I'd advise look for something else, plenty of options in this price range. Maybe with some proper care, renovation and transparency (like "party hostel/night teracce" kinda theme), this place could be revived again, cause you can see it has a great potential,otherwise, in the current state, it should cost maybe third of the current rate, and still would be rather disappointing.
+ Sum greater than parts. Despite loud night music slept great!!! One of those entire bathroom wet showers barely drained yet okay! Go figure. Soporific magic...somehow. Hard to find at first look for signs a bit down from 7/11 Just up alley. Location location location! And sleep quality.

+ Good location in China Town. Close to Pasar Seni station, River if Life, Merdeka Square, Jamik Temple, Petaling Street Market...... Loved the murals on the doors of the rooms - each depicting a bird with a write up on the species. Owner polite and informative.
