We had to ring the bell many times and eventually yell for someone to open the main door for us upon arrival. There was no wifi! Terrible atmosphere, upstairs even felt creepy. Shower head was dirty and some shower heads were missing. Bedroom was uncomfortable and stuffy. There was a New Testament in the bedroom. I didn’t know that hostel world is okay with hosts proselytizing to guests. Only good things is that it’s close to the airport and the room had a fan. We hated every minute ...
Direkt neben den Flughafen(5min zu Fuß), das ist aber schon das beste am der Unterkunft… Würde ich nur wieder als Transit nutzen wenn es wirklich nicht anders geht
Right next to the airport ((5min walk), but that's already the best part about the accommodation... I would only use it again as Transit if I really can't help it
The location was handy, but the walls were so thin that anyone walking past the room or setting an alarm was loud enough to wake you up. The free breakfast was nice, until i found bugs in it.
Ok pour la localisation à proximité de l’aéroport. Établissement qui n’accepte pas la carte bancaire. Il s’agirait de l’indiquer aux voyageurs avant le check in afin de ne pas les envoyer à l’aéroport retirer de l’argent. Le monsieur à la réception tout juste aimable.

Prima hotel om van en naar het vliegveld te gaan. Ook vooral de pick-up service en gratis ontbijt zijn fijn. Je dlaapt wel in een dorm met ver andere mensen, maar voor 1 nacht vind ik dat zelf niet zo’n probleem.
Nice hotel to go to and from the airport. also especially the pick-up service and free breakfast are nice. i do sleep in a dorm with a lot of other people, but for 1 night i myself don't find that a problem.
The hostel is quite old and needs some renovations. The pillow was uncomfortable, no bed lights... but the staff were very friendly and it is a quiet and safe place, plus it is near the airport. Small breakfast included.
The only reason you are staying here is because you are close to the airport. Nothing is bad, but nothing is really good either.
For what I got was very expensive… property is run down and shared spaces are not very nice. Only good thing is how close it was to the airport for my late night flight (5 min drive) but wouldn’t stay again.
On hostel world it said that the shuttle to the airport was from 05.00 and this was the reason I booked, but this ended up being from 06.00. It ended up being safe in the neighborhood so walking was fine even tho I didn’t like the idea of it. Not really any atmosphere in the hostel or in the neighborhood really only for easy airport access
Perfektes Hostel, wenn man abends landet oder einen frühen Flug hat. 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Flughafen. Ist ebenfalls sicher, da in einer Gated Community gelegen.
Perfect Hostel if you are coming to the country in the evening or have an early flight. 5 minutes walk from the airport. is also safe, as it is located in a gated community.

Hostal Los Lagos was the perfect little spot to stay after arriving to Guatemala City on a late flight, and before leaving on an early flight. The rooms were simple but comfortable, and the staff was lovely and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast on our first morning and enjoyed the sun in their lovely garden.

All in all, Hostal Los Lagos was a great experience. Literally a five minute walk from the airport, all on a sidewalk. I arrived very late, 12:30 A.M. It was tricky to get inside the neighborhood (it's gated at night) but if you follow google maps, it'll take you down a street with a door and security gaurd. Apparently, not a great area at night, but the hostel itself felt very safe. Comfy bed, kind staff, clean bathroom, fantastic breakfast. Great for early A.M./late P.M. flights!

Amazing hostel in Guatemala City. The owner is incredibly kind and accommodating. We stayed for 2 nights and it was perfect. Would recommend.
Great shuttle service to and from the airport. Staff were very welcoming and encouraged me with speaking Spanish. Superb location for the airport especially as I had an early morning flight.
I stayed there for one night because I arrived late at night. It is okay to stay there the night and leave the next day. It’s incredibly loud and I’d recommend to just go to Antigua instead. You not only hear the planes but also guests that leave super early and are very noisy.

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Wir kamen mitten in der Nacht vom Flughafen und er war sehr geduldig mit uns und hat alles in Ruhe erklärt trotz der späten Stunde. Das Hostel ist sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist perfekt, wenn man vom Flughafen kommt.
We arrived at midnight from the airport and he was very patient with us and explained everything calmly despite the late hour. the hostel is clean and has everything you need. the location is perfect if you come from the airport.
Stayed here for a night. I came in late from my flight and they accommodated everything. They are very reliable with answering the phone on WhatsApp so I explained everything to them and they were happy to help me late check in. The breakfast is included also and really was very nice. 6 minute walk from the airport + in a gated community. Cons: (didn’t affect the quality of my stay at all but worth nothing for some people) - no curtain for bed privacy - owners don’t speak Engl...
Nice hostel to stay at for one night when you have to be at the airport. It’s nothing fancy, but has everything you need for one night. Owners are nice.
Really good hotel to spend a night before a flight. Comfortable beds but bad pillows. The staff is super friendly, the shower was warm, the breakfast was alright and included fruit which is always a nice

Für eine Übernachtung vor oder nach einem Flug super geeignet:) sehr sicher, da es in einer gated community liegt und der Flughafen ist zu Fuß erreichbar
