Monkey Business Bungalows

J’ai réservé pour une nuit. Pas d’eau chaude, des cafards dans la douches et dans mon lit. Je n’ai même pas dormi là. Il y a de gros problèmes d’hygiène dans cet établissement

The staff was nice but the dorms are old und not well maintained. The bathrooms was smelling as the water wouldn’t drain properly. Also the atmosphere was not great.

Construction going on right outside the dorm windows at 6am, a girl woke up with dust off the construction on her pillow! The dorms and bathrooms never got cleaned once while I stayed, so dirty, seen rats multiple times in the communal area. There was nothing going on in the hostel & Checked out a day early. Only good thing was the staff who were always smiling and happy to he.

bathroom and room are nasty They are full of all sorts of bugs and don’t seem to have been cleaned in a while the shower wall was full of yellow stains Too bunks don’t have outlets No lights for any beds No social areas Front part is a restaurant All in all not very good stay

The beds were ok but the bathroom was disgusting! Really a bad smell and a lot of mold. Live music was nice though and the option to rent scooters but would not stay again

Average accomodation Good location and the bar seems nice But the dorms are not very luminous and at the back of the property Facilities are not very confortables, no pressure in the shower and not very clean

I was the only one staying in the hostel - not ideal for solo backpackers but not the hostels fault. Dorm didn’t lock so felt quite unsafe and rats were scurrying around outside the room causing quite a lot noise! Showers flood bathroom very quickly. Staff were friendly and food was really good

Comfortable bed but was not given a locker for valuables as all the lockers were full and someone else was using the one assigned to my bed. Restaurant was nice but not much of a social atmosphere, but location is great. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and JJ’s.

I loved my stay at monkey business. I was in the 16 bed podstel which provided a nice mix of privacy but a dorm like feel. The beds were very comfortable & there was lots of space to store stuff. My only complaint would be that there was no locker storage, and with no lock on either the main door or to your pod, it didn’t feel safe leaving any valuables unattended. Staff were fantastic.

Vey unique stay, good size room in the pod, able to stand up and have more privacy than your standard dorm! very modern, clean and 24/7 staff to building!

This 'pod' is almost a room... it's really a perfect place, quite new I'm guessing

nice clean hostel. however compact dorms, without privacy curtains. Was a bit strange because the common are was a restaurant as well, so did not find like a cool place to hang.

Un peu sale et bruyant :(

I wouldn’t not stay here again but the top bunks have no curtains and that is very off putting when in a mixed dorm. The rooms are small and you are practically piled on top of one another. There is practically no storage. The toilet stinks constantly and the shower has little to no pressure but still manages to flood the bathroom. There was a slight tiny spider problem in one corner of the room - they did sort this out. The staff are polite and friendly and the food is to die for.

The outside area for eating and drinking at the front is lovely and the best part of this place. The rooms are as seen in the photos but my locker was broken and the bunk beds were extremely difficult to get up. Sadly during the night I could hear rats in the roof and there was a cockroach right next to my bed as I was trying to sleep. Also our bathroom/wetroom never drained properly so it ended up smelling a lot and was always damp. This place has potential but needs some improvements.

La partie restaurant est bien, mais les chambres vraiment pas top avec une odeur et des lits pas tres confortables

Great location, good value for money and fairly sociable. They were doing lots of building work early in the morning which could be quite frustrating.

Hostel tres bien qui est malheureusement très peu sociable. Mais bon les dortoirs restent très agréables et propres. Si vous recherchez un peu de tranquillité je vous recommande cet hostel

L’auberge est bien située et la décoration extérieure très belle. Le personnel est sympathique. La nourriture était bonne. Points négatifs : - Je n’avais pas de couverture et je l’ai constaté après la fermeture de la réception. Je n’ai quasiment pas dormi ( trop froid avec la climatisation). - Les coups de marteau suite aux travaux juste à côté de la fenêtre du dortoir à 8h du matin. Après 10h ok, mais avant ce n’est pas cool si tu as besoin de dormir
