Wouldn’t stay again Stayed Oct 16–19 in Room 109, Bed 3. Unfortunately, I woke up with multiple itchy bites in a row on my back and neck, consistent with bed bugs. There was also a persistent toilet/sewage smell which made the stay uncomfortable overall. Staff might not even realize the issue yet, but I’d strongly recommend they inspect and deep-clean the beds. Travelers should double-check reviews before booking — I wouldn’t risk staying again

I had a rough experience here. Pros: good location and kind staff, privacy curtains on beds Cons: pretty much everything else. -most major, the last day of my stay (I was there 6 nights) I started noticing some itchy little bites and they have only gotten worse since then. I've never had bed bugs before, but I think that's what they must be. -rooms are small and noise carries, making it extremely difficult to get sleep. Someone in my room was moaning and vomiting two of the nights I was there and I heard everything. -room smelled weird, kind of a sickly sweet scent (not due to the vomiting because it smelled like that before) -laundry was expensive, I paid 9 euros for a laundry pod, wash, and dry cycle. There were only two washers and two dryers for the entire building and one of the dryers was out of commission. -no nice quiet areas to take phone calls. The upstairs common area is right next to the bar and is very noisy, especially at night. There is a "chill area" down next to the laundry but it's dank and depressing, plus there is music playing constantly. I could go on. I guess you get what you pay for, but I've been in other hostels that have been a much more pleasant and restful experience. I got increasingly fatigued each day I was here, and now I'm dealing with the stress of wondering if I brought bed bugs with me.
