I like my stay here, but the upper bed for 4 mixed bedroom is really hard to reach, it's too high and you need an effort ro climb. It was clean, bunk bed with private light. Bathroom is clean but not the cleanest. Will stay here again if needed.
I wouldn’t come back to this hostel. There’s absolutely no ambience and people staying at the hostel are rather weird. The staff is ok, the location is great but a grab for 1-2 bucks can take you easily and fast to the center so don’t book just because of the location…
Staff spoke no English, toilets very unclean, no social atmosphere. Food places near hostel was good.
De locatie van het hostel is goed. 15 minuten lopen vanaf het station en goed bereikbaar met de taxi. Er zit altijd wel iemand achter de balie. Personeel is ook erg aardig en denkt ook met je mee als je een vraag hebt. Het hostel is wel een beetje sfeerloos. Kamers & badkamer zijn redelijk schoon. WC werd elke dag schoongemaakt. In de kamers is er slechte ventilatie,waardoor het er erg snel muf rook. De kans op schimmel was aanwezig. Wij zijn beide ziek geworden, wat 100% niet door het eten kwam
The location of the hostel is good. 15 minutes walk from the station and well accessible by taxi. There is always someone behind the desk. The staff is also very friendly and will also think with you if you have a question. The hostel is a bit atmospheric. Rooms & bathroom are fairly clean. WC was cleaned every day. In the rooms there is poor ventilation,which caused very fast smoke. De kans op schimmel was present. We both got sick, which was 100% not due to the food.

Gutes Hostel, wenn man nur 1-2 Tage in Yogyakarta verbringt. Wir sind zu zweit gereist und hatten ein 2er Zimmer, das okay war. An sich war der Aufenthalt dort gut. Leider war es sehr dunkel und wirkte ein bisschen erdrückend. Als Solo-Traveller ist es schwierig dort neue Kontakte zu knüpfen, da es keine soziale Stimmung oder gemeinsame Aktivitäten im Hostel gibt. Der Badezimmerbereich ist sehr sperrlich eingerichtet, die Fußmatten hätten öfter gewechselt werden können.
Good hostel, if you only spend 1-2 days in Yogyakarta. We traveled for two and had a 2nd room, which was okay. The stay there was good. Unfortunately it was very dark and felt a bit oppressive. As a Solo-Traveller it is difficult to make new contacts there, as there is no social atmosphere or common activities in the hostel. The bathroom area is very tightly furnished, the foot mats could have been replaced.
Hostel was grand overall, floors and communal areas were always clean. It was in a great location, shops and restaurants righr beside you. The room was small but beds were big. Our room had no window so whenever we left and returned to the room there was an awful smell of dampness, we had to keep the door open as long as possible to try get rid of it.
This place was fine but the bathroom never felt clean and I’m not sure it was cleaned during my four day stay. Not terrible, but the kind of place you don’t want to set down your toiletries and you want to wear flip flops in the shower. There also isn’t anywhere to put your toiletries while you’re getting ready even if you did want to set them down. Room had a musty smell and all my clothes smelled like it after I left. No windows in the room, but it was nice and dark for sleeping! Decen...
Liked it because it was central to the main road, supermarket 30 min walk away not too bad. Atmosphere was off, stayed in my 4 bedroom dorm only with an older man, felt very uneasy about that. Nobody really talked, no group activities were encouraged. Bed was comfy, shower was nice, and liked the kitchen and fridge. Only take room payment in cash which I found annoying. Good value for how cheap it is.
I stayed in a private room with private bathroom, neither in the bathroom nor in the bedroom there was a window, drops of water fell on the mattress from the ceiling at night. The location is central and close to the train station. Overall I wouldn't return.

Sympathique hostel bien équipé situé à côté de la rue Malioboro, à proximité de la gare. Le personnel est agréable, disponible et à l'écoute. L'endroit est bien entretenu.
Nice hostel with all amenities located next to Malioboro Street, close to the train station. the staff is friendly, available and attentive. the place is well maintained.

Great hostel with big lockers, comfortable beds and 2 min walking from the main street!
The pods on the room were comfy and the room had ample storage. The staff were very nice. The wifi worked really well and there are nice outdoor balconies. The showers on the 2nd floor however were a bit broken which affected the water pressure.
Ich kann euch nur empfehlen hier zu übernachten, die Leute vom Personal sind super lieb und es wird täglich geputzt und nach zwei Tagen bekommt man sogar ein neues Handtuch. Die Lage ist auch super, da das Hostel direkt in der Stadtmitte liegt. Es gibt kostenloses Wasser und auf dem Balkon Wäscheständer.
I can only recommend staying here, the staff are super nice and it is cleaned daily and after two days you even get a new towel. the location is also great as the hostel is right in the city center. there is free water and on the balcony there is a washstand.
Great hostel for someone to be close to malioboro. Very clean. Friendly staff. Comfy beds with good A/C. The only problem was that I was woken up most mornings by noise in the corridors by other guests and building maintenance.
Really nice place. There was a calisthenics gym, kitchen and lockers for security. Bit pricey considering the average cost of hostels in the city, however, considering its location, amenities and cleanliness it was worth it. Only issue was that the Wi-Fi was really unstable and at times it didn’t work and it wasn’t a very social hostel, people weren’t talking to each other.

I enjoyed my stay here. Although I was not expecting not having a window, the ac and lights were good enough. It’s a good location and staff is nice. What I didn’t like whatsoever was the somewhat false advertising of the kitchen. I pick hostels/stays based on if there is a kitchen available as I am vegan. The kitchen in question has one stovetop and one pan/pot (and no cooking essentials). You’re not allowed to fry anything and the staff stares at you if you cook which didn’t feel so ni...
Nice place and perfect location, you can almost reach everything by foot. Amazing guys and girls at the reception, always kind and interested in helping you for anything. I absolutely recommend the place:)
Great location near Malioboro (though could sometimes hear the exceedingly loud pedestrian crossings…). Rooms had the PERFECT temperature of air conditioning. Beds were really nice with space within the capsules. Top bunks were very high and awkward to get in/out of. Large lockers :) towel provided, but not shampoo/shower gel. Not very social as the social area is hidden and lots of people are doing sunrise. Staff were sometimes helpful depending on the question - English not always understood...

i had a good stay here, meet some nice people in my dorm, but it was not so social appart from this. The Staff is realy helpfull :)
Overall, not bad. The dorms are ridiculously small though, which makes it really hard to get in/out if there's someone else in the room - let alone pack your bag or organise your stuff. Not a social place to stay as people seem to keep to themselves, and the common space downstairs only seemed to be used by local men. The staff were friendly and helpful but I probably wouldn't stay here again
