Hidden Garden Hostel

Noisy hostel. Stayed in the dorm and could hear every door in the hostel (not just the one from my dorm). The card system they use blocks the latch when going out of the room, meaning you have to slam the door.They resonnate and vibrate in the whole concrete building. Also next to a busy road. Left one night early but didn't get a refund. Staff smiles but you can tell they don't really care. Prices for things you are not allowed to do written everywhere.

If you drop your plastic key card down the side of the bunk bed they’ll charge you 250 baht

The hostel can be as social as you want it to be. Can easily make friends hanging out in the common areas. Bedding is clean as well as the showers and the staff are really nice.

It was ok. I didn’t stay in the end because the photos are deceiving. Pool is tiny and it’s right on the street so just feels a bit chaotic. Didn’t get my money back either.

Very expensive hostel. Not much of a social atmosphere. Late at night, there were people yelling in the hallway and it was very disturbing because the walls seem to be very thin. Need to be more strict rules about noise because the whole hostel echoes. The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and shower wasn’t that hot.

The staff was nice and it’s in good location. However the ac was way too cold and no way to fix that so I woke up sick after my first night. I also didn’t like that the women’s bathroom is only on second floor and with my dorm being on first floor, it was a long way to the bathroom (annoying especially at night). Ended up staying only 2 nights out of 4. Again, staff was super nice and it’s clean, maybe I just got unlucky.

The place is very nice, however it isn’t social at all. We booked a private room which was tiny and right next to the main road so was very loud at night, for the price of the private room we stayed at much nicer hostels in Chiang Mai

war leider sehr laut, da privatzimmer direkt bei der strasse ist und auch mit ohrstöpsel keine ruhe bekommen.. eigentlich wäre es ein sehr schönes hostel

Had a private room to start with, went back after a week to shared bathrooms, very clean & presentable. Very quiet hostel & so close to all the action. Great place, will be back

Sehr laut (Verkehr), direkt an der Hauptstraße! Absolu freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal! Sehr sauber!

Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt! Besonders möchte ich das Personal hervorheben, die Menschen, die hier arbeiten, machen einen extrem tollen Job und sind total hilfsbereit in jeglicher Hinsicht. Ich bin sehr sicher, dass ich hier wieder herkomme. Bin sehr dankbar!

We booked a private room & private bath. The room was very small, but we made it work. They provided towels, body wash, & shampoo. The staff were very friendly & it’s in a great location. Loved the first floor kitchen & pool area. Easy to use washer & dryer as well.

This is one of if not the best hostels I’ve stayed in! Very clean, staff is super friendly and helpful and it’s in a great location very easy to get to. Would definitely stay again!!

Unser Aufenthalt beim Hidden Garden Hostel war mega toll!! Sehr nah am Hostel war abends ein Markt mit gutem Essen und die Lage war generell ganz solide. Das Hostel selber war sehr sehr sauber und schön und die gratis snacksb& eis und die mitarbeiter die super lieb waren haben uns richtig abgeholt!!! Es war sehr schön da

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit einem entspannten Vibe. Das Personal war freundlich und hat immer gute Tipps gegeben. Zum Kontakt knüpfen ist es nicht unbedingt das beste Hostel, aber dafür kann man an Events in andere Hostels teilnehmen.

Nice and chill. Bit more on the expensive side but still a very nice hotel. Always clean and comfy beds. Wasn’t the most social, but a great location.

I slept in this hostel and angmo hostel and preferred angmo hostel. It‘s definitely less modern here though the social atmosphere was fine. It‘s location is also less preferable right next to a loud and air polluted street. Generally it was clean though and the staff was friendly. They have a policy to spray your bag with insecticides upon arrival.

Loved the hostel, would absolutely come back again. Amazing location and unlimited free icecream!

The staff were really helpful and gave great food recommendations. Room and facilities very clean. Free tea/coffee and snacks for guests. Easy to book trips and transport to Pai. Would thoroughly recommend.

Very clean and welcoming, perfect location, very close to amenities like 7-Eleven and the Night Markets. The Staff were very helpful and accommodating for booking excursions

Hat mir sehr gefallen, Atmosphäre sehr nice , pool auch super bisschen klein aber zum Sonnen super. Komplette Inneneinrichtung top sowie Lounge. Die Damen an der Rezeption haben mir immer weiter geholfen. War sehr nice

Most beautiful hostel I ever stayed in it was really calm and yet there was so much to do. The interior is so nice and it really felt like coming home. I enjoyed my stay there so much and it has the perfect location for reaching everything by foot within 20 minutes and there’s so much life going on around the hostel and yet it is really peaceful inside. There is always fresh fruit and popsicles in the fridge, everything is really clean and I would always recommend to stay.🫶

Comfy and big beds. Storage lockers aren’t big enough for your big bags so meant lots of bags on the floor in dorms etc. If you’re staying in a dorm towels are not included and you have to pay a 200TBH deposit. Staff were lovely, there was some confusion with the deposit for towels but they sorted the issue and apologised. We even got a free upgrade on our last night!

I only stayed here one night but it was lovely and peaceful. Not very social and the women’s bathroom was really far away from the dorm but very good facilities.

Super Hostel! Wir hatten ein zweier Zimmer ohne Bad. Die Badanlagen waren getrennt für Männer und Frauen und hatten wirklich alles was man braucht: genug Ablageflächen, genug Platz um seine Handtücher aufzuhängen, genug Anlagen. Im Kühlschrank gab es Wassereis für alle :)

Unglaublich tolles Hostel! Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, klimatisiert (leise AC) und die Betten waren sehr gemütlich. Das Personal ist unschlagbar freundlich und gibt gerne Tipps für Restaurants & andere Aktivitäten. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr chillig und es gibt eine Küche, Eis und Snacks. Ein Pluspunkt sind die zahlreichen Events, die teilweise kostenlos bzw. preiswert organisiert werden, wie zB eine Pad Thai Cooking Class oder einen Trip zum Sticky Waterfall. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder b...

Probably my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Rooms were spacious and tasteful and I loved the common areas. Met an amazing group of friends here as well
