Pakping Hostel

No lo recomendio. Si bien tiene buena ubicación. Son habitaciones de 10 personas con un solo baño y una sola ducha! En la habitación no hay espacio ni para caminar hacia la cama. No nos dejaron entrar antes del horario del check in, ni poder desayunar antes de las 8 hs por lo cual perdíamos el desayuno cuando tenías excursión. muy mala atención del personal.

Lovely staff, great location and nice communal area. However there are only 2 toilets within the 3 floors and the bedroom door did not lock. Found some ants in my bed.

Clean hostel with lovely helpful staff with lots of tour options but not overly social. The free toast/cereal for breakfast was great and good location for walking around the old town.

Very good location. Breakfast (toast and cornflakes) was a nice treat. Free drinking water, coffee and tea all day. The female dorm room has a bathroom included in the room. That was not ideal. You could smell the old sewerage constantly in the room and it was poorly soundproofed. And my roomies loved to use the hairdryer in the middle of the night and very early in the morning...

Auberge pas loin de la rue centrale. Je suis restée seulement 1 nuit donc pas trop le temps de juger correctement. Mais ça n’a pas l’air d’être une auberge hyper social pour être honnête ! Sinon rien a redire !!

Really liked this hostel!! Clean, privacy but social area, breakfast included, friendly staff, great location… Only downside: in the dorms there isn’t much space for your backpack, & the locker is quite small, so the room will get messy. But other than that, had a great stay!

Schönes Hostel, tolle Gastgeber, gute Lage. Nicht sehr social, weil es einfach sehr klein ist. Nur ein mixed und ein female dorm. Aber hab meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und man hat eine Menge Tipps von den tollen Gastgebern bekommen! :)

Clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and I felt safe and secure. The hostel is very small and not social at all. There isn’t a great social area because of the size of the hostel although it was very comfortable so would recommend for anyone looking for comfort and quiet.

Really nice, chill and clean

It was very clean and modern and the all female form had pods that extended back into the wall so you felt very cosy and had lots of privacy. The staff were very friendly and would chat over breakfast and say goodbye or ask how your day was. Overall a really nice atmosphere with a really caring nice atmosphere but wouldn’t say it’s a party hostel at all but possible to meet people.

It's a relaxed hostel with a very welcoming host and a homey feel. Don't expect parties or major social events, however i always found someone to have a chat in the morning while enjoying a basic free breakfast

The most comfortable hostel I've stayed in Thailand so far. No joke! The dorm, bedding and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Loved that you had 3 lockers to store your stuff in if you were staying long. My favourite was the mezzanine lounge and study nook area. Ideal if you want somewhere relaxed, cosy with a "home away from home" feel. Special thank you to the owner Koki and her housekeeper who made sure you had a comfortable stay. 10/10 for sure.

it was nice there, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was small but good.

Séjour incroyable, hostel très confortable, personnel très gentil, endroit propre (ménage tous les jours par une femme d'une gentillesse inégalée). Private room pour 3 nuits et c'était juste parfait ! Petit dej le matin ok, rien de spécial mais suffisant pour partir explorer la ville ! De nombreux conseils sont donnés par notre hôte Koki, d'ailleurs je vous conseille le sanctuaire Elephant Nature Park, où on les observe seulement. A lovely place to stay in a great location. Staff are super helpful and happy to help with anything, even offering recommendations of where to eat. The hostel is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities you could need!

Amazing place, the most friendly staff and the owners, everyone is just incredibly kind and welcoming. it’s great value for money, it’s cozy and feels like home. it is conveniently placed inside the old city, you can easily take cheap bolt/grab rides anywhere and of course book attractions at reception. there’s also free breakfast- cereal and toast. i highly recommend staying there. truly a lovely place.

loved my stay here! The only issue is there wasn't enough room for my luggage in the room. be advised there is no laundry. chill atmosphere. great for working abroad but not so much for socialness. but I would definitely stay here again!

Wir haben uns im Pakping Hostel sehr wohl gefühlt! Es ist sehr sauber, ruhig und der late-check-in sowie der early-check-out waren ganz unkompliziert. Zuerst waren wir eine Nacht im Frauen-Dorm, dann zwei Nächte im Privatzimmer. Bei beiden Varianten haben wir uns sehr sicher gefühlt! Auch das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und hat uns Insider-Tipps für Chinag Mai gegeben. Wir würden auf jeden Fall zurückkommen!! Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! :)

Such a great hostel. My favourite I’ve been to so far. A lockable cupboard in the capsule and a lockable drawer under the bed. Feels like a well kept home. Can make hot drinks and a refillable water station. Staff very lovely and will help with recommendations. I find the hostel to be social when sitting in the communal area downstairs and talking with others. Games are available to play. Quiet which is perfect.

Favourite Hostel in Chiang Mai! I moved around a few hostels in Chiang Mai and this is my pick! It's fairly chill, not a party hostel but still have a nice social vibe especially during breakfast in the morning. The dorm is clean, cool with spacious and private beds. The location is very central and the staffs are the best! Main downside I can think of is that the common area can be rather hot. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable, chill, and welcoming spot for your Chiang Mai...

one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The owners are such lovely people, that have loads of recommendations for whatever you ask them. Beds are big and comfy, everything gets cleaned every day by a super sweet housekeeper. also, they have small free breakfast in the morning. all in all not too social, but they offer a few board games and a good communal and eating area.

10/10 hostel! We actually decided to return here this trip we liked it that much! The place is clean and nicely decorated. The staff were so KIND, friendly, accommodating & gave amazing recommendations for our stay in Chiang Mai. The location is very walkable to a lot of things around the old town, depending how far you’re willing to walk. Plenty of markets, restaurants, etc close by! 5 stars!
