Deva Hostel & Relax Pool

Personally really wasn’t a fan of this property. The main thing being the cleaning standards and the shower/toilet facilities being badly maintained. Top floor one shower barely works and is falling apart, the toilet/shower areas are tiny. Everything was merely surfaced cleaned for the 5 days I was there, no cleaning of plug holes around sink surfaces etc so drainage and odour was an issue. Toilet roll not frequently replenished. Okayes Hostel in super Lage. Die Toiletten- und Duschkabinen sind sehr eng. Auch war es zwar nicht dreckig, aber zB Spinnweben wurden in den Duschkabinen nie entfernt. Von den zwei Waschbecken auf unserer Etage für 12 Personen hat eines kaum bis nicht funktioniert. Generell war der Wasserdruck sehr niedrig. Privatsphäre im oberen Bett stelle ich mir schwierig vor, da man immer etwas ins gegenüberliegende Bett schauen kann, dies aber der einzige Ort ist, an dem Platz zum Umziehen hat.

Great location. We only stayed for one night but it was clean and comfortable. The only negative was that the lights in the dorm room stayed on all night. We couldn’t find a light switch and some bunks didn’t have curtains which was strange.

A great hostel for more of a chilled vibe. The beds are big and comfy and the pool is great. The only downside is it’s not very sociable. But is in a great location for walking around the old city.

Prima accomodatie als je wil relaxen. Niet heel sociaal maar fijne kamers grote bedden en ziet er netjes uit

Mooi en verzorgd hostel. Verbeterpunt is wel dat wij ‘s ochtends vroeg aankwamen en de deuren dicht waren, waardoor wij een uur buiten hebben moeten wachten. Op de foto’s zijn geen gordijnen te zien bij de bedden, deze waren echter wel aanwezig wat een fijne verassing was. Leuk hostel alleen weinig gezellige reizigers ontmoet.

The location is great, right outside the Eastern gate to the old city and the staff was very friendly. Enjoyed being able to cool off in the pool during the warm Chiang Mai afternoons.

Huge beds. Very comfortable and secure hostel. Staff friendly and welcoming. Lacking a bit of atmosphere. Wouldn’t be ideal for solo travellers. Perfect location and very clean

Really nice place to relax, good enough location. Nice setup for a 12bed dorm because they are cubbies so works better. Very good service from the hosts. Pool and balcony are awesome. Chill social and small talk - not party but not dead silence

Staff was super friendly, great location. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. You could definitely meet people down by the pool if you want. It’s relatively relaxed but also people still trying to party, so pick your own vibe here which is nice. The pool was really nice in the heat of the day but then cold after peak sun. Had a good stay here.

Loved this place, super chill vibes. Not overly social but I wasnt looking for that. Love the beds, they’re in little cubbies instead of the standard bunk bed. Made the 12 person dorm feel.. less like being with 12 other people. Would definitely come back.

I had a great time here! The staff is really kind and the hostel itself is very clean. Its only a 15 minute walk to the night market, so that’s perfect!

Great hostel. Beds and rooms were very comfortable. It’s a bit quiet so you’re going to have to make friends. There’s really not a social vibe here. I would stay again but there are other hostels equally as nice. Great for digital nomads and mature travelers. I wouldn’t stay here if all you like to do is party.

Heerlijk Hostel, de man achter de receptie is echt een top gozer. Douches hadden wat schoner gemogen maar kan er mee door. Voor de rest een lekker hostel waar je lekker je rust kan pakken.

Great staff, nice facilities, and a great location. Was easy to get all over town. Not the most social hostel as they don’t host any events or anything like that, but the pool area is great for meeting people. Some of the bathrooms could use another hook or two, but everything was clean, well maintained and just a super pleasant stay. Would highly recommend.
