The breakfast is very poor with no taste of anything, they made mistakes with the orders all the time, the last night we were in the room people arrived at 4:30 in the morning, they started to turn on lights, to bathe, we went to complain to the manager of the hostel and she was very rude, she wanted to charge us for a glass that we never broke, all this shouting saying that she was going to call the police. We left the hostel very upset because of the bad attention and the bad treatment!
La experiencia en este hostel fue muy mala, me atendieron mal, incluso me gritaron, el desayuno fue pésimo. No lo recomiendo
The experience at this hostel was very bad, they treated me badly, even yelled at me, the breakfast was terrible.
El hostal está alejado del núcleo y por una carretera oscura. La limpieza del sitio dejaba mucho que desear y al ser baños abiertos había sapos en las duchas, me pusieron pegas para darme otra ducha. Me dijeron que tenia una habitación para mi sola, y luego me preguntaron de manera agresiva porque había dejado la mochila en una cama. La tortilla del desayuno tenía cáscaras de huevo. Definitivamente mi peor experiencia en Vietnam, hay hostales muchísimo mejores por el mismo precio.
The hostel is far from the core and on a dark road. the cleanliness of the site left much to be desired and since it was an open bathroom there were frogs in the showers, they put pegas in me to give me another shower. they told me I had a room to myself, and then they asked me aggressively why I had left my backpack on a bed. the breakfast tortilla had eggshells. definitely my worst experience in vietnam, there are much better hostels for the same price.

Room we booked was over booked so instead of a garden view double room we were put in a room with two massive double beds and no windows 🤡 In retrospect should have just refused and stayed somewhere else. Also clothes from laundry came back smelling of damp? Not sure how. Staff were apologetic and breakfast was nice.

It’s a family run hostel and me and my friends saw the effort of everybody, but there’s many things that can be improved: -no personal light in the bed - the dorm and the bathroom were not always clean -sometimes all the toilets without toilet paper -the family dinner was pricey (130k/person while in ALL the other Homestays in Vietnam was 70/90k) but also nobody interacted with us, except for the receptionist. We did it to have a cultural exchange and basically had a silent dinner :(
Ze hadden een sfeervol zwembad. Het ontbijt was prima. Ze waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers was schoon.
They had a cosy swimming pool, the breakfast was great, they were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, the rooms were very clean, the rooms were very clean, the rooms were very clean, the rooms were very clean.
It seemed kind of moldy and just not super clean. Air conditioner also didn’t work so it was super hot. Wifi was also pretty spotty. Food was good and the workers were lovely but just not the perfect place!
The location was good it was about a 10 min walk into the centre. The breakfast was good there was a range of options to choose from. The pool unfortunately was not the cleanest. Our biggest let down was that unfortunately we woke up with multiple bites that felt a lot different to a mosquito bite until we spotted a bedbug in the bed. Our bites were so sore and we let the lady on reception know but she was very defensive not apologetic at all saying we’re wrong arguing with us about it.

I cannot recommend Anh Huong Tam Coc Homestay in Ninh Binh highly enough. The owners truly care about their guests. After I injured my foot, their daughter Hin took me to the hospital, stayed while I got stitches, and helped me get medication. Their kindness and care went far beyond expectations. Such a lovely family and a place where you feel genuinely looked after.
Such an amazing stay! The staff were so friendly, kind and helpful. The room was also really quiet even though it is just a few minutes walk away from the Main Street. They also have a super cute dog that is really calm and friendly and impossible not to love! Overall such a great experience and lovely, homely vibe. Would always recommend to anyone!

We loved staying at Anh Huong Tam Coc Homestay! The Family was lovely and they put so much effort in everything we asked for. The homestay is perfectly located for all the activities in Ninh Binh. You can also Book all Trips (Bus, bicycle, Motor bike etc.) for good prices as well. We would definitly come back and recommend :)
Ottima posizione e siamo state accolte benissimo, il personale é veramente gentile e cerca sempre di aiutare in ogni modo. Le camere sono molto belle e silenziose, il bagno molto spazioso.

amazing homestay, the whole family runs the place and you feel at home with them, they are all so kind and smiling its just lovely to be here, u feel at ur place amongst them,they help u for every request u have. bless them and If we ever come back here, we'll definetly come back there again.
I loved this place, the family is very kind and sweet. The breakfast and the food in general was amazing (I’m vegan). The beds are comfy, the showers are very good. It’s not very social and there’s no free drinking water. And the bicycles are not free as described in Hostelworld.
We paid a good price for a private room with an en-suite and balcony. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom a decent size. Breakfast was included and made to order. It’s a 2-minute walk to bars and restaurants. The main issue was the pool—it was green and unusable our entire stay, which was very disappointing. Overall, a nice family-run homestay. We were served by a teenage boy, but he was professional and had good English.
The homestay is beautiful with a pool and a large common area. The family is super friendly and helps with bookings, busses and tours. They even offered to take us to the bus station by motorbike. Also, the homestead offers a wide menu for lunch and dinner at good prices. Breakfast is included in the price. We had a great time and thank you to the family!
The family who run it are so lovely and incredibly helpful. Our bus was cancelled due to lunar new year and they helped arrange a new bus for us and moved around their schedule to accommodate us for the extra days. Location was close to the town centre without being too noisy. The dorms could do with a bit of a refresh, but the private rooms were very lovely and modern. You can hire bikes for a very reasonable price, which was great. Would definitely stay again.
Place was lovely to stay at! The property is run by a very nice family who were so welcoming, and super helpful when we were booking our onward travel. Definitely recommend staying here!

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful stay here. A very cute family run homestay. Everyone was very friendly. They helped us book our onwards travel, offered us tea and homemade sweets and helped us with hiring a moped.
We felt completely at home and were very well taken care of. The family was incredibly kind and helped us with everything — from tips on what to do in Ninh Binh, renting a scooter, booking tickets, to even driving us to the bus. The bed was cozy, and the location was great: central but still quiet, not directly on the main road. Highly recommended!
