+ Very cheap, but you get what you pay for.
- Mattress was rock hard, very uncomfortable. AC did not work in the room so it was hot, stuffy and full of mosquitos. I told reception, they said they fixed it but it still did not work so we checked out early and went to stay in a different hostel. location was good if you want to stay in the city but in hindsight I would have stayed in the Tam Coc área, much nicer and more happening.
There were no lockers to leave personal stuff. The receptionist offered me to take care of my personal things (passport and money in cash). When I came back from all day tour in motorbikes. It was missing money. They only offer to give me back less than 20% and in the local currency. Was a terrible experience. I dont recommend the place to anybody, also the vibe of the staff super wierd. 🤮

- Not as it noted close to station but to need to take 15 minutes by their hostel provided a bike ride for an extra expensive payment, it’s an usual scam in Vietnam !!

- Meine Bettwäsche hat so gerochen, als hätten da schon fünf Menschen vor mir drin geschlafen und sehr viel geschwitzt.

+ Comfy bed. Large shared area to chill out. Easy to rent bikes.
- The shared areas need a deep clean lots of dirt and mould. Be aware this hostel is in the centre, Tam Coc is the area of Ninh Binh with the mountains.

Loved my stay here! The staff were super friendly & very helpful. The two cute dogs plus one cat made it feel extra homey for me. 😍 It’s like a hidden garden in the middle of the city - very calm and relaxing. Great location near the night market. Rooms were clean, AC perfect, and facilities spotless and cleaned daily. Highly recommend!

+ Es war ein sehr klassisches Hostel die Betten und Zimmer waren okay. Die Bäder gingen auch klar. Der Mann an der Rezeption war Mega lieb und vor allem der Aufenthaltsbereich ist sehr süß, weil er draußen ist und es gibt sich Sitzmöglichkeiten
- es war halt ein Hostel es war jetzt nichts krasses die Betten waren etwas hart und die Klimaanlage. Etwas kalt in der Nacht. Der Billardtisch war leider ein bisschen kaputt.

+ Good location within Ninh Binh They have adorable dogs and a cat which was wonderful!
- Fast message responses prior to arriving at the hostel. Received zero responses to messages following our arrival No secure lockers for personal items - lockers provided had no divider making them useless in the mixed dorm. Storage in the female only dorm is way too smaller for reasonable traveller luggage. Which means luggage is all over the floor. Was relatively tidy but the showers/ toilet facilities were grimy Would not recommend the tours advertised at the hostel. Were misled on the tour that we booked - did not do everything that was explained and the tour started much later than planned wasting valuable time that could have been spent at the sites. Would advise just using Grab or hiring a bike and visiting the sites around Ninh Binh yourselves - will be more enjoyable and will not be pushed time wise.
The hostel is nice and clean, it is just far away from Tom Coc and Trang An which is a little bit unconventional if you want to do things there. However the hostel is really good for the price!
- The bunker was way too high and no proper food place close by

+ The guys were super friendly and helpful in everything! Also the hostal is in general super nice and perfect to have a nice stay in the center of the city
- The only thing that I would be aware is that they a have a little doggy that was barking and crying the whole morning and was a bit annoying. But I guess then It will be all good :)
