Stay started well, but then a large amount of money went missing. When I asked for help in tears because this has never happened to me and I’m in a foreign country, the owner reacted aggressively and refused any assistance. Later, public replies falsely claimed I had said things I never said or believe (e.g. that “Latinos steal”). Ein wenig einladendes Hostel. Die Wände sind zwar bunt bemalt, aber insgesamt hat es sehr wenig zu bieten, nur 2 kleine Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten, die beide draußen und zugig sind und nicht besonders gemütlich sind. Der Besitzer war wenig hilfsbereit. Die Frau an der Rezeption aber sehr freundlich. Die Duschen sind extrem klein und nicht einladend. Im Vergleich zu anderen Hostels in der Nähe, den Preis nicht wert. Ich kann es nicht empfehlen und würde nicht wiederkommen.

There is no fresh air or any oxygen in the dorms it’s crazy to sleep there If you need the tiniest bit of fresh air don’t go there

The hostel is a bit differedifferent from the poctures. Kitchen is well equipped, but has a small fridge. if the hostel were full there will be lack of space to stoge food. there is only 3 WC, wich is very few for 9 bedrooms. The showers and wc were really clean, that is a really positive think. The vibe os the hostel its just poor.

Staff was friendly, price was ok for a private but room had awful misty mildew odor. I would’ve went to a different hostel but I was only spending one night before a very early morning flight. The water in the shower was not hot. Wanted to like this place because a friendly staff and good price but I would not stay here again.

Above average property. Great and helpful front desk staff. Manuel (sorry if I spelled your name incorrectly) was very helpful and friendly. Quiet and very peaceful. Good of you are looking for a non-party hostel. I would stay there again.

Hostel is good for a one night stay if passing through. No atmosphere, tiny hostel. Beds are pretty comfortable and bathrooms are decent. Not far from the bus station.

Leider hatte ich eine sehr sehr durchgelegene Matratze und es war sehr kalt im Zimmer/ es gab keine Decken sondern nur Laken. Toller Hinterhof (sehr gemütlich), der aber zu früh zu macht

Suited my needs for peace, a decent Kitchen and a good bed in a quiet room as well as a safe neihhbourhood perfectly. This will be earmarked as my go to hostel in San Jose.

Very good hostel! It’s clean, beds are great, the staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s a calm hostel. Only thing is the doors are slamming shut so it can wake you up sometimes, so I would just advise to bring some earplugs, but it’s part of hostel life!

Excelente lugar y excelente atencion

The Hostel was very clean, cleaning everyday, and quiet. Everything was in good condition and the location was in a secure neighborhood. Sometimes the showers were cold and at night it can get cold.

I really felt comfortable and safe here. Lots of cozy lounging spaces and nice beds in the female dorm.

Bien ubicado. Estaba limpio, el personal amable. No hay buen ambiente pero tampoco es el perfil del bar. Las toallas estaban muy desgastadas a pesar de que son cobradas aparte.

I have my private room and bathroom! The hostel is very close to the city center and bus terminals! I highly recommend this place!

Had a really nice stay here. The place is super clean and feels very safe, which is exactly what you want in San José. The common areas are cozy and great to relax. Staff was friendly and helpful with tips. Perfect spot if you’re looking for something calm and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

I had such a nice stay here, I arrived around 9:30pm at night and the staff was so kind and stays up all night to make sure the guests all feel safe. I LOVED having them coordinate my airport pickup as well. Just complete peace of mind and in a great location. Wine bar walking distance away

Mega lässigs Hostel! Sehr sauber und gmüetlich, me fühlt sich grad wohl. D’Lage isch ruhig und sicher, perfekt zum entspannt starte oder ufhöre mit dr Reis. Dr Besitzer isch mega freundlich und hilft bi allem witer. Wür i uf jede Fall wieder cho 😊

J’ai passé un super séjour ici. L’endroit est très propre et confortable, on se sent bien tout de suite. L’emplacement est pratique pour tout faire à pied. Le staff est vraiment gentil et toujours prêt à aider. Je reviendrai sûrement 🙂
