- Zimmer war kalt / Klimaanlage konnte nicht selbst reguliert werden / die mit der Rezeption vereinbarte Erhöhung der Temperatur fand erst nach Diskussion und nur teilweise statt / es wurde eine zusätzliche Decke angeboten / mir war aber über der Decke kalt und nicht unter dieser

The property is okay but it didn’t have the hostel vibe where you can connect with people. There were hardly 5 or 6 people staying in the hostel. I felt very lonely. I asked the receptionist to change my female dorm to mixed he said it won’t be possible. Initially I thought the hostel was fully booked and that’s why he refused but that was not the case. It’s also very far away from Vaduz city centre.
+ Ausstattung und alles drum herum war super.
- Ich habe noch nie ein so unhöflichen Menschen kennen gelernt, wir wurden bei der Ankunft vom Inhaber so respektlos und herablassend behandelt, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt und ich war in vielen Hotels. Erst hat er uns einfach stehen lassen und ist einfach gegangen nach dem wir sehr lange gewartet haben bis jemand kommt. Seine Aussage war „Das interessiert mich nicht, ich gehe jetzt, ich habe auch ein Privatleben und für euch keine Zeit!“. Als endlich seine Frau kam und uns bedient hat kam er nur vorbei gelaufen und hat gesagt „So, kassiere von beiden nochmal extra 20€ ab dann können wir heute Abend schön essen gehen!“. Man muss dazu sagen das diese aussagen entstanden ohne einen Wort mit ihm verloren zu haben, man könnte meine es gab ein Problem, aber tatsächlich hat er uns so behandelt ohne das wir auch nur einmal mit ihm überhaupt gesprochen haben. Wirklich absolut fehl am Platz, dieser Mann sollte sich ein anderen Job suchen. Also bei mir muss viel passieren das ich überhaupt eine Bewertung abgebe und mir so viel Zeit dafür nehme.

- Paid 290chf plus 70 odd for dinner for what was described as a hotel room plus dinner.... the room was small and basic No tv No kettle No adjustable heating/aircon just one hard double bed a bunk bed 3 small table nothing to sit on and no hanging wardroom automatic lights in shower cubicle and toilet kept going off and on.....Breakfast was OK but only cold option...Dinner was awful choice of basic salad item (lettuce tomato cucumber and tinned sweetcorn plus dressing to be put in a bowl the size of an egg ...one choice take it or leave it for main course... day one was overcooked potatoes what was described as ratatouille and probably 3 week old chicken breast...day 2 was supposed to be vegetable curry(with no veg or taste in it merely lentils and pulses and finally the sweet day one was chocolate mouse day 2 was some sort of cake portion size miniscule.... this place is ok if ur prepared to sleep in a dormitory cos it's cheap but don't bother with the so called hotel room unless it's a more reasonable price and take ur own knife and make ur own sarnies for dinner or look for a restaurant take note it's expensive everywhere in lichtenstein and Switzerland....

- Être obliger de payer cette foutu taxe par carte pourquoi ne pas accepter le cash !? Pas de prise de courant à côté du lit. Obliger de charger le téléphone à 3 mètres du lit.
if I was biking the trail this would be perfect but just to visit not the best with nothing going on and no curtains on the beds, but free breakfast is good and facilities are very modern
+ Clean and spacious rooms with beautiful bathrooms, delicious breakfast included, and walking distance to the free buses. Nice for what travelers need for a night or two, however…
- Zero social vibes, and RUDEST staff I ever met! Staff freaked out on me when Booking.com price was less than the hostel price… Basic, boring, insulated staff unable to tolerate any misunderstanding, and flat out LIED that 30 people were staying in an obviously empty hostel. An otherwise beautiful place made for one of the most uncomfortable stays in 6 years traveling.

Beautiful building and friendly staff. The first floor lobby was gorgeous with stunning views and a great place to spend time outside of your room. Great breakfast as well -- wide variety of nutritious options. Perfect location right on the edge of the town allowing for great walks/bike rides. Only flaw in my opinion was that there were no curtains around the beds which is always nice but not a huge deal. 100% recommend!

+ I had a great stay at Schaan-Vaduz Youth Hostel—the incredible mountain views, especially from the rooftop balcony, were a real highlight. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh options, and I really liked the variety of common areas, including a cozy library and relaxed lounge space. The location is also very convenient, as it’s easy to reach from the bus stop, making it a perfect base for exploring the area.
- Overall, I enjoyed my stay, I would have preferred if the bunk beds had privacy curtains, as it would make the dorms more comfortable.
