Gold Coast Hostel

we had a lot of issues here. firstly being, when we arrived to the private room, there was actual fecal matter in the toilet. the room smelled awful. shower was tiny and the door was broken. the initial guy working the reception didn’t really seem to care about this and didn’t offer much in terms of solutions. apparently they were planning to remodel but.. proceed with caution.

Me and another girl (in separate rooms and coming from different places) both got bedbugs here. The bathrooms also perpetually smell like sewer. I hate leaving bad reviews especially since the staff is fairly nice but this was my honest experience

I got a terrible case of bed bugs here. The worst experience I have ever had. The toilets were not clean and I opened it to an entire bowl of feces. And some of the staff was rude.

Considering it has a superb rating, it was a let down. The location was good but there was no vibe and it was not clean. Facilities were limited and it was pretty run down. You may as well stay in the city hub across the road for nearly €10-12 cheaper.

The two receptionists are friendly and efficient, and the location is good. However, the room is outdated, the shower smells bad, and guests can’t use the kitchen. The beds have very little headroom, the toilets are old and smelly, and there’s not even a chair to sit on. There are also no power outlets by the beds, and the exposed cables seem unsafe.

The hostel is too poor, the ac doesn’t work well, the rooms are too small. They must to learn more to host people there. Quartos pequenos demais, banheiros precários, ar condicionado não funciona e o prédio é sujo.

Price too high compared to the quality of other accommodations in the area and the services offered to the guest by other tour operators sold at a higher price by the hostel people. I also asked to get my money back as I changed my mind to stay an extra night but the reply was: "the rooms are now blocked and you cannot get your money back!"

I’ve had a really bad experience with the laundry service I took my clothes almost wet and smells like s*** now i have to re wash them and i already lost the 250 tl

Great hostel, staff are very friendly

Great location and very friendly/helpful staff. The rooftop bar is a great opportunity for socialising and the hostel staff organise lots of activities for everyone. Everything was clean and bright, would definitely come back.

I have been to more than 15 hostels in my treavels and this was without a doubt my favorite. I felt like I was was visiting family. Fatih, Aden and Youseff were tremendous hosts.

Fantastic Hostel, similar social vibes and hospitality as in South East Asia. The room temp can be controled and the showers are in the room. very clean and considerate. Fatih is a Fantastic host and has great recommendations around antalya.

Our stay was great! The room was clean, the breakfast was good and the staff was sweet and helpful. John helped us book our hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia and everything worked perfectly.

BEST HOSTEL IN ANTALYA. only the sickest eshays working here and a must visit. clean facilities, best vibes, and the only place you should consider.

Really good stay, the staff were so nice and the terrace was great for socialising. Cheap beer too!

This hostel has a very good vibe because of the location and host. I totally recommend you to go with the hosts on a weekend pub crawl, it is trully amazing

We LOVED our stay at the Gold Coast Hostel. The staff were super social and helpful and the other guests were also so kind and happy. They have a guy in the staff that is responsible for the social part and I believe that makes a great difference in how social the place is! We always felt welcomed and the hostel organized a bar night and dinner for all guests for a cheap prize. This hostel really made our trip!!! 10/10. The room was clean and good.

Great hostel! In a perfect location, the staff were super helpful and friendly, fun rooftop patio, and the room had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Fatih was very helpful and hostel was very clean

The hostel employees and rooftop bar were the best part by far, Fatih made a great effort to give recs/make it a fun and social atmosphere. Facilities were lacking (booked shared room with an en-suite but it was only a shower), and was advised through email to take a 35€ shuttle rather than a taxi from the bus station as they said they would take advantage of you, but taxi was less than 10€ so that was a bad start. But overall a great time!

The hostel is a bit old and could definitely use some renovation. The lower beds in the dorm are placed too close to the upper ones, making it uncomfortable to sit or move around. The overall atmosphere feels quite dull and lacks energy. Additionally, the management seems to rely on outdated marketing approaches, which doesn’t really match what travelers expect nowadays.

It's a chill place, staff is very friendly. It's a decent hostel after all and I recommend if you like hostels but not if you prioritize the comfort. The rooftop is a big plus for sure!

The hostel was amazing. Karaoke, Pub Crawl etc. They were doing every events, they were really social. Shout out to Fatih, he is the best Menager.

10/10. This is the place you wanna be if u wanna meet other interesting travelers in Antalya and enjoy your time. The vibes are super friendly, the manager Fatih is amazing, making everybody feel at home and purely good vibes all round this place, the other workers there were just as lovely. And the terrace upstairs is perfect. Thanks Fatih and the rest for the good times and till soon 🫶

I had a fantastic time at this hostel. Went there by myself and made loads of friends. Fatih (the hostel manager) along with the rest of the staff are all legends and make you feel very welcome. The rooftop is a great place to chill during the day and a great place to drink at night. Location is perfect, right in the middle of the old town. If you're coming to Antalya this is the place to stay.

Perfect place, I would recommend everyone

After staying in 60+ hostels around the world, this is easily one of the best I’ve experienced. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between social and relaxed, and the hosts genuinely go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. The location is hard to beat just a few meters from the bars, beaches, with incredible mountain views. Special shoutout to Fatih for the warm hospitality and constant good energy. Never stop laughing habibi!!
