Hostel Carlos Gardel

Room was too small and in a bad shape. Furniture was super old and dirty. There were stains on the bed sheets and a lot of stains on the walls… It was overall very run down.

Good location, quiet place, you end up doing your own thing and if that’s what you’re looking for, then this perfect for you. But if you’re looking to mix with other people- forget it. The staff don’t speak English so best for those you can navigate good translate/speak Spanish. You pay by cash- dollars.

The hostel is in a really great location with lots of nice cafes/ bars etc nearby. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend!

Bom custo benefício e localização fica em San Telmo, que me pareceu um bairro seguro e com vários restaurantes, lojas e feira de artesanato.

A nice place in a good location, right next to San Telmo Market but far from other parts of town. Our room had great AC and a TV with Netflix. Bathrooms were big and cleaned regularly. There is a small kitchen which is helpful. Lady on reception was helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. The private room was clean and spacious with a door out to a shared terrace that got the sun all day. Amazing location.

Muy buena ubicación, habitacion privada dotada con ropa de cama, toallas, cama muy cómoda, hambientes comunes amplios y agradables El baño tenia mal olor pienso que por los ductos de agua porque se veia una persona diario realizando el aseo.

The cleanest place we have stayed in South America (on our budget). Maria is very helpful and friendly. It's not really a hostel, more of a hotel with a kitchen - but this is good if you want some time to yourself. Very well located. Would happily stay again.

The hostel was very nice. They were a bit confused when we arrived early to check in but were very accommodating when we requested to stay an extra night. The building is beautiful and the room was very comfortable.
