BIG NO. The only good part is the location. I'm really shocked with the good comments. It is small, smelly, noisy, hot to sleep, unsafe (just a tiny, thin wooden lock in bed), with uncomfortable bunks, unreasonable rules - cannot use the showers for 12 hours while there! from 10am until 4pm and 11pm until 6am! It's one cramped floor, with the cheapest quality of everything - toilet paper dissolves immediately. If it was 3k it would already be too much, but 6k for that and not even a towel?

- no one was there to help me check in or tell me the room was ready just ended up letting myself into the room as I had been waiting for hours. The property is very small - no privacy even in private room. Unfortunately I would not recommend

- It wasn’t as clean as I expected, mold in shower, dust hair balls along the edge of my bed, someone’s dirty thong in the cubbie above mine. It was hot, the room had AC but guests kept turning it off. I did have use of a fan one night which was helpful. Mattress was thin. Light in room stays on until 11 pm which was late for me. I couldn’t close my curtain because I needed air flow.

- 口コミを読んでいて、朝食がおいしかったと書いてあり、楽しみにしてました。チェックインして聞いたら、オーナーがいなくて出来ないですと言われた。若いスタッフさんに言ってもしょうがないと思いましたが、期待していただけにガッカリです。対応出来ないこともあると書いてあれば、こんな気持ちにはならなかったかもしれない。 私はツインの個室でしたが、就寝して２時間くらいしたら、外国人の人がシャワーを使い、共用スペースでガタガタしてそれから眠れなくなった。音が聞こえないと思ってたのに、快適とは言えなかった。
+ 自炊とかもできるアットホームな空間でした。 冷凍庫あるのありがたかった。 ドライヤーもいいのだったし〜ヘアアイロンあるのも素敵でした！
- ちゃんと確認したら書いてあったのかもですが〜バスタオルや歯ブラシとかなくて〜困りました。 バスタオルは借りれたみたいなのですが、受付時間が短いのでチェックインの時に説明してほしかった。 初日は優しい人がタオル貸してくれました。 次の日は買いました！ ロッカーとか鍵つきの場所はなかったです。 貴重品入れれる小さい場所はありましたが、ちょっと不安でした。 ちょうど選んだベッドの場所が朝から日差しがすごく入るところで、眩しくて早起きしちゃいました。泣

- Die Gegend ist etwas abseits von den typischen touristischen Attraktionen. Lange Fahrzeiten.
I had a short but sweet stay here. It was a loverly calm experience and the staff where excellent and very helpful. The area is super cool, especially if you like vintage shopping. The hostel is a little old but very clean. Lovely to spend time with other female travellers.

This is without a doubt the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Such friendly ladies who run it and nothing at all is too much trouble. So accommodating and lovely, they really go above and beyond to help you. Also the decoration is so cute! I really love the shelves with gifts from happy guests over the years, you can tell this is a really special place. Neighbourhood perfect, close to subway but quiet, lovely shops and cafes. 10/10 easily 🥰

Absolutely loved my stay here! My first time in Japan, and staying here felt like I was living in a house with friends. The location was great - surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and vintage clothing shops and only a 10 minute walk to the station with a direct connection to Shinjuku. All of the facilities were perfect; clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained. The staff were lovely and so welcoming! If I'm back in Tokyo, I look forward to staying here again!

Fantastic stay! The hostel is in a lovely neighborhood a short train ride from Shinjuku station so it is easy to go anywhere. There is a coin laundry and family mart very close by which is convenient. This is the most social hostel I’ve been to in Japan and there are so many friendly women staying there. The little dog is adorable and very well behaved. One note for future travelers is that this hostel has a short amount of very steep stairs, but this is typical in Japan. I will stay agai...

I stayed here several years ago and discovered that koenji is one of my favorite places. the owner Sanae is very friendly and helpful and there is a toy poodle who I pet a lot. it's clean and comfortable and I slept well, the guests tend to be thoughtful of each other.

+ The loveliest and helpful staff and very cozy hostel with clean bathrooms and toilets - I like that this is a smaller hostel, so you really get to know the other guests :) Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
+ 清潔感があり、スタッフさんとの温かいコミュニケーションでリラックスして癒されました。 寝室のベッドには裸電球があったり、手作りの貴重品入れがあったりでほっこりしました。 自炊で好きな食事をゆっくりとれたのもありがたかったです。 冷蔵庫には自分の名前をシールで貼り、好きな時に食べたり飲んだりできるのも最高です。
