   Do not recommend for solo female travellers. I booked the female only dorm which did not have any lock, so men did enter our room. The hostel itself has two doors to enter from the street, there are no locks into each dorm. When I left BOTH of these doors were unlocked and one wide open, so anyone could get to the rooms from the street. It is also in a dodgy location and not close to the city centre at all, over 5km away from anything you actually want to go and see. There is no security onsite.

   Nothing really it was extremely loud on a night I had a flight at 6am so had to leave at 3am and didn’t get 1 hours sleep. The location is okay about 30 min walk to central station how ever i didn’t feel very safe. Also upon check in at the hotel I found my bunk to find someone had been in it. I did message to let them know where they told me the hostel was full but just take another one 🫣 As a solo female traveler it was just a lot I did not feel safe there either

   • The only downside is the room doors not being able to be locked properly. Yes, they have a key inserted in the keyhole... But it's not very handy, when you go to sleep and don't know, if you should expect more people to come in the room while you're deep dreaming.

   I was a bit worried about legitimity of the hostel after I saw the 1 star reviews on Google maps, but I didn't have anything else to do, because I was already in Milan at the moment. They had a very shadowy web-page to pay for the city tax, and I was scared they would steal my bank card details... I still get nightmares about it, but everything is just fine. I had a hard time finding the door of my hostel, but with the help of locals, we found it, and... it turned out to be one of the best hostels I've ever been to. Especially for this price. Yes, you need to be mindful about doing the online check-in in a timely manner. But the staff (which is not present in the hostel) is very responsive and they actively try to solve your problems on a phone-call. After the check-in they send you two door codes to enter the hostel. It was a very clean room, the bedding was so white, I doubted if anyone has ever used it before me. Hostel has only three rooms, and four bathrooms on the floor, each equipped with a shower. Each is different! So you can choose if you want to shower in a normal 0.5-0.5m cabin or in a stone cave 😂 The only downside is the room doors not being able to be locked properly. Yes, they have a key inserted in the keyhole... But it's not very handy, when you go to sleep and don't know, if you should expect more people to come in the room while you're deep dreaming. But I'd definitely recommend everyone this hostel, as it's not that far away from the city centre, and is quite cheap for Milano.

   Stay well away from this hostel. Not only is it in a dodgy area of Milan, we were forced to stand outside until I received a code for the door that I didn’t receive until 3 hours later, by that time we had to book another hotel as we weren’t going to stand out there at night. There is nobody to answer the door when you arrive when I asked for a refund I was declined for absolutely no reason.

   This is a scam. Even though I had a reservation, they never sent me the door code after I arrived. It got late at night, and I eventually gave up and stayed at another hostel. They finally sent the code around midnight, and when I requested a refund, they just made excuses. You should absolutely avoid booking this place.
