Very poor experience with terrible customer service. This hostel has an excellent location, but the owner was rude and unhelpful.

These guys trick you but adding a 6.50 Euro charge so you can have SHEETS. They say that’s how it is in Stockholm, but I’ve stayed in other hostels, and I can assure you, this is not true. So make sure to add the 6.50 premium to whatever price is in the app.

They charge you extra for bed liners (65) while forbidding sleeping bags - a cheap trick offer fake lower prices. The facility is bad: most rooms are below street level and therefore dark and not well ventilated. The two toilets are small not clean and missing essentials like stuff to dry your hands (towels, paper towels or something). The common area does not invite to hang around at all. The location is central but located at a large street which means it is quite noisy (also bar noise).

Disappointed. Way below my expectations. Here is what wrong and should be improved. - Toilets: - only 2 of them for a 40 bed capacity. - That too on only 1 floor. I was staying on the other floor. Climbing stairs in the middle of the night half asleep is very frustrating and unsafe. You have 4 showers. Convert at least 1 of them to a toilet. Room: - bad air circulation. Felt like i am trapped in a jail cell - small with little window. Literally felt like i am in a cave. - ...

Completely dirty, rooms bathroom and showers. The room was freezing with a breeze coming in and no one was ever in the reception to ask for a blanket. The bed was like sleeping on a water mattress, they have 2 really really thin mattresses one worse than the other. The only good thing is the location, everything else was a disaster. Never again and never will tell other to go.

Besides the good location, nearby the city center, the room was in the basement without window and the cleanliness was terrible. We were expecting a shared restroom however, it was only one shower where I could barely be inside. I can say that photos don´t represent the place as it is.

One of the worst hostels I've been. The staff is not friendly, the beds are noisy and uncomfy, the doors don't shut so we'll so quite easy to access the rooms by anyone, only 2 showers and 2 toilets for 12 guest rooms (!). The common area is super tiny and not great to meet and hangout. The only good thing was the location but I don't recommend this place, especially for that price.

I had another great stay at this hostel! The staff are incredibly friendly and really make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The whole place has such a cozy, relaxed atmosphere, which made it easy to feel at home. This wasn’t my first time staying here, and it definitely won’t be my last. I already knew what to expect, but it still lived up to it again. It’s a perfect place to unwind, meet people, and enjoy the vibe. Thanks again for the lovely experience and see you next time!

Everything is ok

The hostel manager Is very kind and happy to help. I had a late Flight and we coordinated check in in the evening for me. Had a wonderful time. The kitchen is the tidiest I've ever seen in a hostel.

We had a wonderful experience! We are two girls from Spain and we felt really safe, everyone was really nice and the location is perfect :D

If I come back to Stockholm, I will stay here again.

The staff was super kind, and everything was perfect! Only thing that kind of sucks is the showers are in the basement, but it’s not too bad. Great location in old town too!

We had a great time! The hostel is in a perfect location, right in the middle of gamla stan. Besides that, it is very clean with big showers and kitchen and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend and if i’m ever in Stockholm again i will be staying there again!

Amazing location, the host is very friendly. Large showers, and a practical kitchen. However, the rooms only have 2 plugs, so i recommend bringing an outlet if you want to charge your phone at night

I had a lovely stay in Dockside. The location is amazing. The staff were so lovely and we felt really safe! Would recommend to anyone , it caters to everybody!

a simple and kinda basic hostel in the very best area of stockholm, i would say a little "sparse" (i was in the mixed dorm) but overall all ok if you just need a place to sleep and not much more, as i did. one thing that was slightly odd was having the bathroom in a different area and even the showers downstairs (probably a different situation if you're staying in other rooms) but, again, overall all was right considering also considering the price and the incredible position.

Really helpful staff, decent location right on the edge of old town. Clean and lockers provided. It’s very quiet which suited me.

Not sure what to expect with Nordic hostel but this was weird. I had to pay extra for my Bedlinen (?). Location is cool, not social, showers are meh. Overall ok but probably wouldn’t do again.

The guy working there did really everything to make the stay better than it was. The location was really really nice (old town). The bed was really not good and made sleeping kinda hard. Also the wifi only worked in the common room and not in the sleeping area.
