Not welcoming and not friendly at all

Eigentlich nur deutsche im Hostel gewesen. Super liebe Menschen. Zum abschalten perfekt geeignet.

war preiswert und hat alles beinhaltet, was man braucht :^)

Checking is not so good. I had to wait 3 hours to get into my room. Hub of German people so for other nationalities difficult to integrate!

Die geforderte Anzahlung war dann doch viel höher und die kostenlose Stornierung bis kurz vor Reisebeginn wäre auch nicht möglich gewesen, so wie in Hostelworld beworben. Denn es gelten die Hostelbuchungsbedingungen, nicht die deutlich besseren von Hostelworld. Aber der Aufenthalt war super. Das Zimmer war gut, die anderen Gäste vorwiegend deutsch und zwischen 20 und 30 J. alt und die Athmosphäre überwiegend angenehm.

Highly recommended! Great location, and as a woman I always felt very safe! The hostel was very clean, (cleaning came every day) Whenever I had questions, I could always contact Chris and he replied quickly. He was very helpful and welcoming. I will definitely come back♥️

This was the first hostel i ever went to and it set the bar way too high for other hostels. I stayed here for a total of 7 Weeks and when i went to different hostels i learned, where this hostel really shines. The furniture is solid and of good quality. The whole place feels finished and cared after and it is. The kitchen is spacy and so are the bathrooms. The dorms are not big, but there is enough storage and even some cupboards. Perfect for Kite- and wavesurfers, Great for anyone else🤙🏻

I had such an amazing stay at this surf hostel in Cape Town! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The company was fantastic — it was so easy to meet like-minded travelers, share stories, and enjoy the laid-back surf lifestyle together. Hostel zum Wohlfühlen, sehr nette Leute und top Lage. Die Gemeinschafsküche, Bad, etc. waren immer sauber geputzt. Das Hostel ist ungefähr eine halbe Stunde mit dem Uber von der Innenstadt entfernt. Ich würde wieder kommen.

10 all the way! What a nice place! Comfortable bed with two pillows of differing thickness what a luxury! Good and well equipped kitchen. Everything spotless clean. In the list of best hostels I have been too.

tolle gastgeber, schöne sehr gepflegte anlage, tolleskozept mit den wohnungen.man fühlt sich sofortwie zuhause.schön eingerichtete küche mit genügend platz im kühlschrank.schöner aussenbereich und neu ein outdoor wc:-) sehr sichere gegend. ich komme wieder. danke chris für deine bemühungen und flexibilität

I had a fantastic time staying here. The hosts Chris and genie are friendly, helpful and create a real familiar atmosphere. Good location for being next the beach, clean, great facilities, spacious - a place I highly recommend

I had a really great, although unfortunately too short, stay at the surf hostel. The atmosphere is super relaxed, and everyone was incredibly friendly. One evening, we all got together for a “braai” (an African BBQ), which was a great way to connect with the other guests. On another day, we played cards and just enjoyed the laid-back vibe. The hostel is about a 5–10 minute walk from the beach, where you get a stunning view of Table Mountain. I will definitely come back. :)

really nice hostel! the staff is super friendly and even though it was quite quiet and empty because of winter the atmosphere was still nice:) a hostel that feels like home

Super place, with such a vibe! definitely recommend to anyone for a great time right where all the water sports happen 🤙 Love this place and already plan to return

It’s been the best hostel I’ve stayed at during my whole trip through Africa, it’s clean, beautiful, and located in a safe and lovely area. The view of Table Mountain is the best, and even though it’s not right in the city center, it’s absolutely worth it. Huge thanks to Chris and Manie for the amazing stay! Surf Hostel feels like one big family.

Very familiar Hostel with great hosts!

J'ai passé en tout plus de 1 mois dans cet Hostel. On s'y sent comme à la maison, Chris et sa femme organisent des braai très fréquemment pour tout le monde et les gens de passages ici ont toujours été de très belles rencontres.

Fantastic hostel. Felt very safe, great facilities, excellent location (had a car) and a lovely communal atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

Super clean, super friendly, great atmosphere, and a fantastic location especially if you’re into top-notch surfing and kitesurfing… the water is a short walk from the hostel. And with the bar, pool, leafy garden and large kitchens, it has everything you could possibly want in a home away from home. You’ve done a great job Chris and Jeanie! Thank you!
